Sometimes I think that the dev team responsible for bedrock doesn't like to talk or communicate with the java dev team, that's the only way to explain those strange differences between some mobs behaviors and block textures 💀
plus, for kids that don’t fully get how it works, seeing it look like one thing and then, after turning away, seeing it look like a different pose would be creepier and make it very clear how it works
@@mrdollyman5675it would also make encountering multiple creaking even creepier, since they would all pause on different frames of their animations, making them all look a bit different.
Open the snapshots, enable the Winter Drop datapack, and play it! You’re genuinely gonna have an amazing time with checking it out, it really is a game-changing wood type
Actually, i think the biome looks kinda ugly and ruins every mountain range. Would be way cooler if you only notice that it’s the pale garden when you enter and from the outside it looks like a normal dark oak forest, so you kinda walk in on accident.
And this is definitely possible too, if modders and datapack creators can make that happen then the company itself most CERTAINLY can do it! The only excuse would be laziness
cant lie I dont see much need, I feel like that if you dont like the biome, then you can take on the challenge on cutting it all down, and replacing the trees wit something you like, although this idea is cool aswell, no hate
They need to change the stripped logs back I wanted white logs for a long time and so did other people. The greyer logs do fit the gloomy theme though but the white works too.
@@wattlesplays one to one parity can't exist as how bedrock and java work is fundamentally different. Parity to mojang is having features be as similar as they can between both versions. That's how you should think about it
8:50 They should just make it a toggle like they did for show coordinates. If all you have to do is change the difficult to easy to go home then change it back to hard it’s just like having as it’s own toggle anyways. Just have it be a game rule you can change without cheats on and still get achievements.
It really needs some fog and maybe even have it go dark when you enter during day too? its not creepy enough. It really just feels like a reskined dark oak biome to me so some different tree shapes would be nice Willow trees would be really cool to see with their droopy leaves and if it had some sort of cave sounds when in the biome I think it would make it even scarier.
I preferred just straight up white wood :/ But I, for one, would love Keep Inventory on my peaceful survival worlds without having to turn on cheats =D
As a Java player I never understood why mojang tries to make bedrock so different, it’s a real shame because as a technical player I do prefer many of the mechanics of java and I’m always confused when playing with friends who play on console so many things are different. I’m not here to hate on bedrock at all I just don’t understand why they do it like this.
They should make the pale garden thicker, and the leaves maybe even a tiny bit greener. Right now, it stands out like a sore (and really ugly) thumb, and it would be cool if it blended in from above
So glad Mojang is changing the way difficulty works instead of tearing down the awful enchanting system and rebuilding from the ground up so it's not complete ass. Really good use of developer time.
Such a pointless change like there's a keep inventory button for a reason. Like there's so much they could do with enchanting or even magic. Mid update
WATTLES I HAVE A QUESTION. Do you know what's going on with Bedrock Shaders/Deferred Technichal Preview? It still looks amazing, but I don't think we have heard from the developers about it in a couple updates/snapshots
That white woodset is nice. I'm gonna utilize it in a bunch of builds. I wonder if the wondering trader is gonna add a pale oak sapling to their inventory.
Hay, by chance, when you updated your game, did it say you were in a beta? I never joined Beta, but I've reinstalled the game 3 times, and it's not leaving :/
The creepers are so annoying in the pale garden they just destroy the whole feeling they shouldn't spawn there and they still didnt make the creaking do more damge like what?
Honestly, when I heard that vexes now despawn I got so sad. In my creative world that I Used a lot a few years back, there were these really old vexes roaming spawn. I name tagged them Evil Fairies and they just chilled around spawn for years. But I think it is a good change, I'm just losing some core history in my world.
I had to go around a entire forest placing grass trees and hearts because in the garden there was a 10 block gap in between each tree with no hearts or grass when I fixed it, it was pretty good
HILARIOUS: The PRIMITVE AF system that means you have to go to Never-Loaded Chunks to find something NEW, is still a Thing. Holy punsihment for exploration, their incompetency is adorable. It would be so easy to give the palyers an Option to designate an Area they Wanna KEEP and have all outside in a singular World/File reload. And be on the newest Version
We don't have as many smooth light gray blocs as smooth white blocks. So I guess the light gray is better and we got enouth white with the rest of the set.
@@EllisFlowers yes. But what I said was that it was more unique than the full white one. So it might be better just for that reason. Even if I prefer the full white one.
@@captainphoton1693 It may be unique but it doesn't match the white wood, it also looks like it has another bark layer with white wood in the Middle. That white stripped log looked perfect before. I think it may be a bug. Grey wood and logs should be they're own separate wood or variant
I hope after this they continue doing biome reworks. I like the new wood set, but the biome is really disappointing, not in content, but in color. Everything in the overworld looks so boring, we need more vibrant and detailed biomes.
The creaking should attack hostile mobs as well. Then when night Falls, if you had a creaking heart outside of your base, it would spawn bodyguards for your village.
I think difficulty should do the terraria route, where theirs two settings, easy normal hard and expert (to replace hardcore) which effects how hard the world is And the other setting effects how punishing it is, with softcore essentially keep inventory on, medium core current Minecraft gameplay's drop evreything when you die, and hardcore one life. That way you can experience changes done in the current version of Minecraft's hardcore beside the one life thing, without dealing with say the fact if you die you loose everything.
You know how, when The Warden spawns in, you get the darkness effect, you know, it would be nice if when the creaking spawns in, you get a fog effect and like thick fog spawns in that would be nice
We have more grey blocks than any other color. We don't need them to turn the pretty stripped pale wood into another dingy grey. That stripped wood needs to be fixed to match Java.
I feel like quartz and basalt were a makeshift attempt at giving us white and black "logs" which they do resemble but the problem with those is they dont have the wide range of plank options that wood does, so im happy to see pale wood even though I dont think it looks as "clean" as quartz... I wonder if the next wood type will be black to follow white or if it will be another colour, people are asking for an end update alot I reckon a black tree and a reworked chorus plant for purple wood would work (hah, wood would)
I don't like the bedrock stripped pale oak being so dark, but I also wish they would make it use the mushroom stem/cobweb color on maps to introduce an extra alternative to those resources.
About the pale wood being darker on Bedrock Edition, I think they might be testing to see which pale wood color the community likes better. (They did this with hanging signs in 1.20, don't you remember.
They should make it where if you die instead of all your items dropping on the ground, a grave or chest appears where your items are stored. So you can come back to where you died and retrieve your items without worrying your items will despawn.
i love the asymmetrical design of the creaking but it makes me want a mirrored version as well. evil idea it could have the opposite mechanics as its counterpart.
9:43 dude I flipped out when he said that because I am no joke already working on a game with that art style. I would link my twitter where I have a video of it but my stuff is acting weird.
@@wattlesplays theres not enough content, its just 3 blocks (not counting sculk and veins), and 1 mob. and it's not really a disease much. maybe in the future a remake may release.
why cant you have a variety of inventory drop options that you can mix and match with difficulty rather than having it all under difficulty, that just seems annoying
I hope at some point that the devs will add a black wood type. Maybe even pair it with a volcano type biome and the wood could be char wood? Just a random thought
I'm still hoping for the Creaking to be more aggressive if it sees you chopping it's Creaking Heart, also trapping the Creaking can make it to expand it's body like a growing vine into the side of the Pale Tree to escape the trap..
Honestly the grey looks good. Maybe they could use it as a different varient🤔 i mean the light grey is different enough to be separate. It feels like a waste to jsut replace it outright but it also feels like a weird difference
Ok now, Hear me out... what if were to combine these Add-Ons: 1. "Realismcraft" 2. "Realistic Biomes" 3. "Realism Fields and Forest" 4. And maybe "Survival but New Civilization" if its all compatable, then I Invision a Minecraft Bedrock so good that it could compare to thee mods in that of Java Minecraft, or do I dare say a contender to it.
I think other mobs should not spawn in the pale garden, they somewhat ruin the vibe. And i also think the creaking should agro every other type of mob to go along with that. They could add remnants of mobs in the pale garden, but no live ones, that would add to the creepy vibe a bit more I also think that adding a very quiet and subtle descending shepherd tone to the background music would also give a more fearful tone
HILARIOUS: The PRIMITVE AF system that means you have to go to Never-Loaded Chunks to find something, is still a Thing. Holy punishment for exploration, their incompetency is adorable. It would be so easy to give the players an Option to designate an Area they Wanna KEEP and have all outside in a singular World reload.
A long time ago mojang wanted to add dyeable wood to Minecraft but didn't and now its like we have it we have red mangrove wood orange acacia wood yellow bamboo wood blue warped neather wood brown dark oak wood and now white pale wood
Tbh i like the peaceful and easy drop changes but it is kinda overpowered, its like adding the cheat without adding it and removes the effect of the fear of losing all ur gear on an easier difficulty without turning on cheats and turning off achievements Overall, nice idea
Its something random, but it would be nice if there was a setting to turn off and on Item Text, especially on phones where it can take up half your screen cuz of the enchants I have to hide it through commands, which would be much easier if it was in the settings
9:09 How do i get the New Worlds UI for bedrock cuz i dont have a Button to change the UI Im on PS4 Also can you halp me with the same thing on PS5 Or you can just tell me for PS4 & PS4
You could do it so peaceful drops nothing, easy drops exp but not items normal is exactly what we have now but the exp drop is 50% of exp gained before death and hard/hardcore is the same but it's 0% of exp before death Also give us a command that let's us customise exp percentage drop on death regardless of difficulty Let's say: /gamerule percentageEXPondeath (percentage value between 0 and 100) Also let us control if we drop exp at all we'll call this command /gamerule doplayerEXPdrop (true/false)
The Creaking’s animations hurt the experience of it imo, Java’s animations for it work better + it shouldn’t move around fast when not detecting a player, just very, very slowly like on Java (though I guess they could make its limbs move a little, since it currently just slides a bit). I do like the attack animation, though, but not sure about it since I also like it just smacking you with its arm.
The stripped log is blindingly white on Java (in the best way possible). I already had plans to use it with quartz and calcite and such. I hope the final version ends up being java white and not bedrock grey
We couldn't get the birch forest update instead they had to give two new forest updates that are lifeless empty biomes. Mojang chose quantity over quality! :(
I can’t be the only one still asking the question of why. Everyone is “excited” for this drop but yet it is looking like we’re getting a half developed biome like it needs so much more work. Ambiance, garden features, lore, loot, different biome generation/its own unique design like you mention a weeping willow style would be amazing, structures and more. Sure maybe this stuff will come down the road but that’s the thing why introduce something like this knowing it’s gonna take even more time to develop and it’s not gonna be at its full potential until the far future. Just kinda sucks because there’s a lot on bedrock that could be updated like the regeneration *cough cough* but yeah at this point I’m bouta just get a pc and play Java with mods
So it's not just me who thinks the Creaking Hearts are much rarer in Bedrock than Java. I entirely cleared a large Pale Garden with /fill-replace and only found 4 Hearts.
