Dyson is missing the mark lately… I love my air wrap but the new creams and this attachment don’t do it for me.

I will always compliment them for their hair dryer and related attachments (which is my favorite hair styling tool btw) and I even think the wet to dry straightening flat iron they have is cool but I agree with you: lately a lot of their stuff has either been a hit or miss

Did you try it with the attachment angled? It looks like you can rotate it (21 seconds in) Not sure if that would help at all

Although it's very similar to the flyaway attachment, air comes from the bottom and the top of this attachment, so it seems to be a more concentrated nozzle aimed for your roots or getting closer to your hair to give you the 'blow out' look.

It seems perfect for the roots, like you said. The angle makes it easier to get to them, but it definitely has a learning curve. I think it's a neat attachment. 💜

Why don’t they just do a regular blow dry diffuser attachment. That would be so straightforward and I’m sure Dyson R&D can maximize how well a traditional blow dry diffuser can dry hair without frizz or fly aways. These weird looking attachments do not intrigue me at all or make want to drop hundreds of dollars on a dyson. Edit - a word.

What a waste of time! Why would you opt for even spending more money on this attachment, when it comes with a round brush included in the price! Why would you choose to use 2 hands, when you only need 1 for the brush attachment! Dyson have way too much time on their hands. Instead of creating useless attachments. What they need to do is, provide their customers with after care insurance. That way, if their tool needs repairing it’s covered!

This attachment will probably work best if someone is brushing your hair. If you're using it yourself, it doesn't work very well.

Your hair looks really nice it does feel that it does smooth the roots but I don’t feel it’s worth it for me I don’t like to have to fully use both my hands and the angle seems too tricky for me 😂
