Looks soooo much smoother. The gravity still looks a bit off tho. Maybe just a tad bit too floaty. Can't wait for the next update on this. Hopefully they show off some cool Nike shoes.
I have a hunch that its going to suck tbh, getting pre-pre-alpha footage like 3 years after it was announced is a terrible sign that they are struggling getting it together
when they announced it they said it's extremely early in development and announced it years before most games ever announce anything. realistically 2023 is around the time in development that a game would be announced
@@maxkeegan2462 do EA ever release such early development videos for other games? I feel like they’re being pressured into keeping the marketing going while having very little to show for it. I can’t say I know a great deal about the technical game development aspects but I do have an interest in how different game studios make games and there are a lot of cases where things dragging on for years longer than planned can ultimately result in the game never making it to market or being released severely under delivered on (2077 anyone?) I would never be happier to be wrong though, ’ve been waiting for this game forever 🤞
Wym the skating looks way better now. The crooked grinds finally pinches and you can control flip speed. You can even do slappies and wallies now. Are you on drugs?
Without dual stick controls this game is going to feel wack. I’m so used to xl and session I don’t think I could go back to skate flick it controls. Could never heelflip when I wanted or really feel like I had control of the board .
I swap between them all the time. Over 3,5k hours combined in both Session and SXL… if I would combine all the time I’ve played the skate games.. it would likely be way more. Next skate is gonna be sick, can’t wait. If you need another dual stick, wait for fakeskate.
@@IAmTheBestMang how do u figure that? I beat all skate games and even the skate it for the wiii. All on hardcore (if the setting was available) my point is why take a step back? Do you use one foot to control the board in real life? Nah didn’t think so.
@@baggypop7536 just feels like they are stuck in their own ways. No body begged to go back to mashing buttons in Tony hawk games but going back to one stick to control that board isn’t a step back to you? Just seems like there is a better way to play the game, I’m also pretty confident there will be a mod to make it playable the same way xl and session play.
@@Bloatedtoad69 let me first start off by saying i agree with u! But like you said, when skate was around, no one was asking tony hawks pro skater to start using flick it controls. I think skate should use the same type of controls they always have. But preferably an option would be nice. And trust me i would be the first person in line to install a dual stick mod
Looks awful! All these years later and this is what they’ve come up with? EA Sports might as well had never made a new one. This hurts the franchise, and shows that EA Sports has made no innovation, or growth for their gaming. It looks clunky, robotic movements, and showcases they don’t care about the Skate community. This gives off Rider Republic vibes, which the skateboarding aspect was trash. This game won’t be better Skate 2. The skate community has waited 14 years for a new Skate game, and this is the hot trash they they give us? Why even bother making the game if you’re not even gonna actually try!
