I bought both the One Note and the GoodNotes versions. I'm primarily a GoodNotes user but jumped on the OneNote version first in hopes of switching to OneNote. Unfortunately, it never felt comfortable so I went back and purchased the PDF version for GoodNote. After watching this video, I'm going to take another look at OneNote and also watch the deep dive video for OneNote. I like the updates for 2025.

Hi Brandon, The new planner looks good. What is your main monitor in the section where you covered your desk, is it the Apple Studio Display? I'm looking for a monitor and would be interested to know what you're using and how you've found it. I had the 2022 and 2023 planner but moved away from using it for 2024, however might revisit it for 2025 - I used to like having my digital calendar as the place where requests came in, and the digital planner was where I put the stuff I was committing to doing / accepting - Sort of like a primary and secondary calendar - It did help to reject "on the day" meetings a lot more as I could basically say if it wasn't in my digital planner that morning, then it's got to wait unless extremely urgent.

Borderless pages are the best. I was doing that. I like to use the 24-hour tile with a page if I need to work on different projects simultaneously. I love the weekly view thats great.

So others say they offer this. But I can promise you that is a lie. There is no way to sync a digital planner with handwritten notes into these apps, especially Google calendars. Their API is so limited. I believe this will be a possibility in the coming years. What you see from others is really a cheap fake; they provide a hyperlink to your calendar. I suggest using AI to complete this task, or the best method for long-term productivity results is to make a daily routine to update your calendars. This provides you with the opportunity to focus on what matters most. If you use a calendar app, then you are not planning, you are allowing the app to plan you.
I Purchased 2024 OneNote to use it on surface pro with Android S23 Ultra, its fine with Surface But with android its scale the ink or background and it change the surface viewing also after saving from android, I lose the option of open it from mobile, so I use it only with surface pro. I try the solutions in channel but it's not working.
Its lacking, however if you have a windows computer, you can take notes with all the essential tools on the Android app and then access the full features on your computer.
