@Ben MacDhui Welcome to the channel. They're both really good earbuds. If I had to choose, I would go with the Between 3ANCs. They're sound is cleaner, bass is amazing.

@@ronontech they sound too muddy and the bass is not strong, they are not for all genres

I tested both side by side and got better sound from the Personlized Sound setting than I got from using the Equalizer.

@@ronontech I have a Hiby R6 III DAP which has PEQ in the Hiby App. If I were to customize things, say bring the FR to the Harmon Curve and then make slight adjustments from there, would I still be able to achieve an even better/more personalized/tweaked sound from the earphones (over time), or does Personalized Sound by Denon Perl Pro or AZ80 have an additional bump that cannot be accessed through other means? Kind of like on some devices, if you turn on the bass boost option, the amplifier changes the FR, but also adds another 50mW unaccessible from the device otherwise. Kinnnd of like how one can only achieve the max nits of brightness from computers with the advertised brightness only when using HD whatever (I still can't really figure out how to access it).

I wasn't using it because I was getting the sound I liked without it. I just started using it, and I don't hear any difference.

After their last update, I would go with the Momentum 3s. They're louder and the ANC is worlds better than the EXs.

Have you tried running a factory reset? I haven't experienced any issues after the update.
