I've got my usual kit with me, the Minelab Manticore metal detector using the All Terrain Fast program with slightly modified settings to give me good depth, XP MI6 pinpointer and Minelab spade.

Hopefully a few more too! This field is a mix from all ages, the farmer told me a handful of Roman seals where found in the top corner and were likely dropped when it used to be marsh land so il be searching that area today 😉

I found an identical one of those objects 15 minutes in - forums say it’s a post-medieval belt mount, late Tudor possibly James 1st. Nice finds 👍

Awesome finds guys I have found a few holed weights similar to those , some of my club members suggested that they may be net weights maybe for hunting rabbits or something? not sure but would maybe suggest why so many are coming up

Awesome finds! The two fleur-de-lis leather mounts(?) are lovely, they look to be on top of 'spades', often see designs with the both together. Seems to be a French connection in that field, what with Dan's coin as well. Also lots of weaving too, what a great place. Look forward to seeing what else you find there.
