Honestly care like this is what made me decide to place my first order through you a few days ago with receiving my SAEs this morning. They came in lovely and were cruising in their bags. You can tell just how the fish came in you do a lot of care inside the facility. So much so I would bet my bottom dollar that you can probably skip QT from fish that are received through your fish store. Anyway much love just wanted to show some appreciation.

Sorry haven't been watching for awhile busy working hard,its nice to see the hard work now showing for everyone to see.North America is lucky to have your Business always honest with asking for help.Just something no else has said but i have noticed alot of your PVC pipe's have sharp edges Pleco rasp alot the edges need to be taken care off. I'm with others you need abit more Driftwood in all the Pleco and Cory tanks.Adding a few dither fish helps to keep some Pleco carmer and help with stress. Make a paste from Sera Micron,Repashy paint onto driftwood let it dry for a few hours place back in tank,growing Algae in jars leave in a tank covered with Lights on 24 hours a day replace jars when fish have feed overnight.Another tip for L168 grab some fish waste from some healthy plecos and place in tank they may have been caught and not eaten in some time the good gut bacteria has gone out of fish. This is only legal L Catfish that can be imported here and has same problem of mortality.

Anyone on the fence about trying a killifish, get you some aphanius mento!. Not only are they pretty, they handle crazy wide temperature ranges. Super easy to breed, eggs hatch in about 10 days so no need to dry them. And they are super interactive when they get used to you so they run strait to the glass when you walk by.
@dt4676
@dt4676 2 года назад
I paid way too much to get some golden wonder killifish. I brought them into my local fish shop guy and he just said he hasn't had them in a long time. Do you think pet shops would be interested in them if I breed mine?
@mbroome
@mbroome 2 года назад
@@dt4676 I would say to check with them first. Killifish are usually not a very common thing an lfs will have much demand for. Most people off the street are not going to be looking for something like a killifish.

For the L 168's have you tried sheets of algae for making sushi rolls or cucumbers? I have also tried thawed frozen broccoli. I like working with various pleco species, sometimes I get some that are hesitant to feed, those last three sometimes get them interested. I have also used driftwood or rotten wood.

Your L168 have you tryed adding wood to the Aquarium and cattapa leaves. Alot of these plecos need actual wood in their diet, catappa leaves have good healing property's but my L168 love chowing down on the leaves as well as the wood

So many cool cories! And everything else... wondering if those geos get the same fin coloration as the red head tapajos? Same size? One thing I liked about the tapajos in my geo research is their smaller size compared to some other geos since mine with be in a 75 with a group of angels. Can't wait until my new tanks are ready for fish so I can place my first order!

Hi, on the mystery cory at 10:32 I'm not exactly sure because it's hard to identify unmatured corys based on a photo or a video but I have a few guesses. 1. A cory similar to the C. Armatus, such as: the "real" C. Armatus themselves, C. Ogawae (CW86), and Brazilian invalid form of cf. C. Armatus called C. "Dorsalis". 2. A cory belonging to the "sp.Guarana" group such as: Guarana I "Rio Teresopolis", Guarana II, Guarana III, Guarana "Long-body", Guarana "Mato Grosso", Guarana "San Jose" and a few more. 3. A cory similar to the C. Loretoensis including undescribed variations of this species mainly from the State of Loreto, Peru. If that cory develops a very distinct body shape unique to the Armatus group, it's very likely to be 1. Also it's somewhat common for these to develop a really high dorsal. If that cory develops yellow/brown-ish colouration and fattens up a bit, it's very likely to be 2. If that cory stays small over the next few months and develops a high dorsal, it's very likely to be 3. Basically we'd have to wait for it to mature. It's a very cool cory of yours and I think you should keep it in a special tank for the next few years. If you want some pictures of these guesses I can link them too. Cheers.
@riki9506
@riki9506 2 года назад
Also, because of the sheer amount of variations of C. Evelynae, there are lot of cory species that go under that name. Some species of this group are suspected to be natural hybrids and hence you're disencouraged to breed them any further. I'm no good with identification of Evelynae group myself, so asking Ian Fuller or someone at his organisation would be the most accurate identification you could get in English.

Try those sunken bellied plecos with yellow bell peppers, all my plecos go mad for those, just cut them in half and drop them in on a spoon. I don't know what it is about them they love, but they really are the favourite food with all of my plecos. At least then you'll know if it's a health issue or a fussy pleco issue. :)

Repashy morning wood would be good for them possibly.
@DansFish

@@Dracobear13 We have morning wood from repashy and we also usually have wood in all the pleco tanks. Which plecos are you referring to exactly. I want to make sure they are getting wood in their diet.
@mbroome
@mbroome 2 года назад
@@DansFish I believe he is referring to the L168. It's my understanding that all Dekeyseria (including these L168 and the l52 that I have) are mostly algae scrapers. They don't actually eat the wood but rather rasp it. So wood might help if you have some that's good and algae covered, but wood it's self is not actually needed by them.
