For a budget blade at around $50, the D2 should serve an owner well. It's by no means a bad steel, just one that's older and we're all used to hearing the name of.. LOL! 😄

A great looking, unusual and quality knife. Build in a way to be carried easily but it DOES NOT HAVE A FINGER GUARD. IMO even for edc applies a knife should have a finger guard no matter if you want to use it for slicing through things, carving in wood or for self defense.

Finger through ring stops forward travel, however there are many other fixed blade EDC options. 👍🗡️
