Really nice man! You're coming along in quicker time then you originally thought. Originally you weren't expecting the rails back until October and here it is a week left in September and the rails are painted and on. Liked!
How much did the frame rail cost and were they the easy bolt on frame offed by pgi adam ? Because I currently have a 2000 mack Rd 688s dump truck that got rolled by my driver and twisted the frame So I'm looking replace my frame rails . Just wanted to get some insight.
Wow, nice job on the rails. If you don't mind, i think you should have put a coat or two primer in the inner part of the rails (in between the old and reinforcement frames). To add protection before you bolt or weld it together.( just a sugestion) but still a nice job.👍👍👍
@@towuniverse2443 ah OK. Maybe i missed the part that you mentioned it,, ( my bad ). But still a very nice job on the rails. Still a long way to go, but don't worry you'll get there. And on what i see on the progress, you're doing a hell of a good job that you won't get from other workshop. Keep it up..👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌
@@towuniverse2443 by the way, on the way things you're doing. When you finished that job,,, i think that job you're doing will last for another decade or two before it shows breaks.💪💪💪👏👏👏
Did you chop the frame behind the cab and replace just the rear section with new rails? I think thats what i see based on the lift holding the rails behind the cab. I got an old pete with frame separation in the rear. Front is solid. I was thinking of chopping it after the sleeper (like a frame stretch). Then ordering back rails pre drilled. Im trying to avoid pulling the full rail out nose to rear.
There will always be some sort of moisture between the rails due to condensation/sweating. Kind of like where trailer hangers bolt to the frame of a flatbed. Just keep the surfaces coated and rust shouldn't be an issue. Problem is if there's ever any work done later that requires welding or heat whatever is coating between the rails might get destroyed.
Please someone can help me. I have a international paystar tri drive 2003 single frame and I want to mack it Dubell frame what I need to do and what is the size of the inside frame Thanks
