I recently moved into my new apartment. After a while of taking out boxes and setting up stuff like silverware, collectables and security cameras, I opened up a box I hadn't opened up in years. It had different DS cartridges in it, all dusty, but in good condition. That's when I found that game, deep down at the bottom of the box, Battle For Dream Island. My friends and I would spend our time after school on weekends, to hang out and play the game with our separate cartridges. After some splendid memories, I get out my old DS and put the cartridge in, and the nostalgia of the main theme will always be legendary.
I remember when I got the game in 2010, and I can tell you about it, the game was about contestants battling for a luxury island, there was announcer mode where you could be the announcer, and you could control the contest, you got 100 different challenges to choose from, and you could host a debut, you could also host cake at stake at time you want, and you could eliminate a contestant in the bottom two, AI would choose the losing team and the amount of votes the contestants on the team got, there was also contestant mode, which is the story mode where you could play as the 20 contestants, you could switch in between characters at anytime. Online mode was the best, you got to play as the final 4 and you would get a random challenge from the announcer which was ran by a ai that would choose one of the 100 challenges, it was 4 players, but in 2014, Nintendo took down the DS and Wii Online Servers, making the mode unplayable, the game is still fun even tho that happened. Also, this is not real, *except the Wii and DS online servers shutting down*.
i actually owned a copy when i was about 8 years old. I lost it but I think I might know where it might be. As I can remember, the game was pretty much a mario game except you lose the game if you don't complete the challenge in a specific amount of time. It is really nostaligic for me and I wish I could play it but my ds broke while moving into a new house and lost the cartridge 2 years after that. I might try to search for it but I have to repair my ds first if you want some gameplay of it.

I didn't have it on the DS, but i remember playing it on a "multigame" arcade, on the Wii section at a restaurant in Mexico back in 2016-2018. The game was something about challenges and stuff. I heard from a group of teens that before release someone leaked the 360, Wii and DS versions on 4chan, therefore the owner got his account deleted and the game never released. I'm sure the game is still somewhere archived by some people. I also heard somewhere that the game was gonna have a Flash demo, PS3 and PC ports, and even a sequel (BFDIA 5b),but this one didn't focus on challenges because of the 4chan user. Ahh, good memories. Also I was like 6-8 back then.
i have a giant game collection and i remember that i found this game at a chilean themed game store, i never heard about it but i tried to see how it was like because it was the only game in there that i never played or even seen. i really like how this actually feels like something a bunch of kids made with so much thought put into it, i also really like the challenges(got through 5 of the challenges on my first playthrough of the game) another factor that i like about it is that all 20 main charaters that you have the option to choose have so much personality and the fact that each of them have their own path like for example choosing snowball will make him complain about the test challenge or that bubble has an extra layer of difficulty with her popping that if you pop then you're sent all the way back to the first part of the level or a checkpoint that you just got. i'm buying this one as my 276 DS game, i can't wait to play it.

Me: Here's how to make your own game on any console! Right here, I have a Nintendo DS! You would need a DS cartridge, and would have to examine it. Make something identical to it, and fix some software and the title art. Do the same for the cover holding the cartridge.
