I actually think the elf one creased less in the fine lines then the Becca one. Looks great on you!

True! But the becca seems to hide the dark circle more between the undereye and the cheek. But I still prefer the elf one

I just bought the elf under eye corrector in fair and I am in love! I'm 57 and, while I don't have many wrinkles, my under eye area is drier now and can be crepey. I was struggling with concealers being too thick and cakey. The elf. corrector is SO hydrating and brightening I don't need any concealer at all!! Such a game changer!

My only wish is to be able to set with powder.. These younger gals have no idea that these dark circles get worse with age but maybe by the time they have to deal with that like we do they will come out with a solution!!

@@pnevlud everyones skin tones and darkness under the eye differs... My skin is light fair beige with neutral undertone and I have to use peach to cover mine...

@@pnevlud I'm very fair, neutral, cool leaning with minimal circles and the pink of the Fair just evens out my under eye color wise like it was made for me. That doesn't happen often lol.

@@rosedolch8637 I love the dry down of the brighter because a lot of the time I can skip setting the under eye. I'm, very carefully, using a discontinued setting powder that I do like. Idk what I'm going to do when it's gone 😆

I noticed that the elf one didn’t have as much of a sheen to it also, unlike the becca one. I have the becca one and absolutely hate that sheen. It makes my under eyes look glowy because I don’t set my concealer. I’ll have to pick up the elf one! Thanks so much for this!

I started using the Elf putty corrector and the liquid version and I reallly like both. I bought the Smashbox concealer and the Huda color corrector and I keep reaching for the Elf corrector!

You have to press into it and break beyond the top layer in order to get to the thicker creamier part of it. Then it has some more pigment/coverage.

I just bought the smashbox x Becca colour corrector for the very first time just two weeks ago. I'm really loving it! But I love ELF products as well and if I can save money all the better! Btw, this eye look is absolutely beautiful. That pop of bright purple on the inner eye is gorgeous!

I bought this because of this video, really happy with it. It is sheer but it does brighten, I wear this and concealer on top. I've worn this alone without concealer on top and just powder to set it and just went out like that when I was running late, you still see dark circles through it but it's definitely brighter

Hey I saw one if your wavy/curly hair routine using a defining cream and texture spray on medium length hair - u also left hair in towel for 30 minutes and OMG. Life saver for me my hair looks so so good! The short wavy hair on you looks so fab on you!!!! Why would you ever go back to straight?

I really wish i could find a color corrector and brightener product that doesn't change my concealer. The becca one smells like crayons and makes my self setting concealers never set and slide around while clinging to my dryness and texture. I really wanna try the new huda corrector.

Thank you for the thorough review; you tested all of the aspects of the product beyond the color correction itself which are most important to me. After spending so much time in Sephora and other stores trying on correctors and leaving in frustration, I am glad that I have no need to spend all that $$ after all. The Elf looked better…. Or maybe because its not hydrating and shiny like the Becca, the camera just made it look smoother and line free. I could see alot of of the lines on the Becca side

Almost all of elf’s putty products end up drying out so I don’t have high hopes this color corrector won’t dry out either. Becca/Smashbox is thicker and creamer and long lasting. I don’t mind spending the $6 but will keep my expectations low.

OMG I had just bought the Smashbox x Becca about a week ago cause I was holding off on getting it for so long. Have undereye shadows that I want to hide so much and wanted to see if can with the Smashbox x Becca. Now wondering if should have waited just a little longer now that there's a dupe or try the Elf one as well (since only $6). Or maybe I'm just having trouble correcting a shadow. Any techniques or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a different color corrector and concealer, but I find using less is certainly more. Like Sarah I prefer my finger tips around my eyes, so I can get into my creases. I will also tap it in several times before I use setting powder (I'm middle aged with fine lines). The setting powder just needs to be the tiniest haze. Good luck!

Honestly I have never liked Becca corrector . I tried old version and new version. They never worked for me.. so this is an easy pass. Especially with squalane in it . I prefer makeup not skincare when it comes to makeup ! I hate how brands just go off of trends .. so crazy .

Damn, from the swatches i see this Elf product doesn’t have the consistency or reflective qualities of the Smashbox/Becca corrector. I’ll keep watching to see how the demonstration turns out.
