I’ve been using Bose Sleepbuds since they came out. I’ve used both versions that Bose introduced. Unfollow they stopped making them and the batteries just won’t hold a charge anymore. I’m looking for new Sleepbuds and really appreciate this review.
First everyone note this video is sponsored. I bought them to substitute the bose that was having battery issue. In the end i repaired my bose, because the A10 sound and wuality were not good for sleeping.
You're certainly entitled to your opinions about them. And perhaps they are not for everyone, but the opinions I expressed were 100% my honest opinions. And I check the box for 'Includes Paid Promotion' because the earbuds were sent to me for free, and it's the ethical thing to do. However, this was not a 'Paid' sponsorship in that I did NOT receive any money to do this review, just to be clear about that. And I'm sure not going to risk undermining the trust of my viewers by being dishonest in my reviews....for what it's worth.
@ReeWrayOutdoors. I just want say, and this is not sarcastic. Seriously. But I wanted to say that that was one of the best and most precisely handled responses if it's kinda that I've seen. Perfectly balanced with tact, honesty, openness, and professionalism. Not overly offended nor did you back down or avoid the conflict. Nicely done. Quite rare today.
I bought them yesterday and I'm looking forward to starting using and hopefully, my sleep will improve. Also, I've watched several videos about these earbuds and this one is probably the most detailed/in-depth that I have watched. Thanks for the review!
@@clarenceoveur9497 My 2 weeks experience with them: They are light and comfortable (generally speaking), and the sound is good, considering their sizes. However: 1. I cannot side-sleep with them as they still press my ear canal; 2. I cannot wear them for the whole night's sleep: I always wake up after 2-3 hours and I need to remove them as they start to disturb me; 3. It happened more than once when I was watching RU-vid or Netflix, and they understood I had fallen asleep and switched to sleeping mode; 4. Every time I wake up (again, after 2-3 hours), they are silent. I do not know if they paused the soothing sound (which is actually not supposed to happen), or if the battery died way before it was supposed to. Conclusion: Although they are probably the best sleep buds (after all there are very few options on the market), for my use it's not worth it. And even though I paid less than 100 bucks for them, I could simply use regular earbuds and because of that, I'm giving them back.
Thanks for the concise review. I was going back and forth wether to try these out to help my sleep. I will try to remember to come back and update my thoughts on it after trying them myself. Fingers crossed that they can help block out the wife’s snoring 😅
Great review 🙂 I have a question to which I haven't found a definite answer: Can you connect these sleep buds to other devices apart from your phone? I like to connect to my PS5 or smart tv directly. Is this possible?
@@adamrobertson2048 Of course. This was more of a general comment on sleep buds. They all noise mask and/or play music, but non (to my knowledge) cancel noise. If you're next to someone who snores, masking or music is useless. This being a newer product surprised me that it's more of the same.
@@jimroberts6176 oh okay I understand. I'm sure they have options with noise canceling out there. If I come across one I'll post it in a comment to you
so someone help me out here; I see this product and the various reviews. How does this help with sleep? It seems like the function is that is provides ambient sounds of different natures. Is that basically it? And if so, how does this help with sleeping better?
2 questions- first, did you have issues with them falling out or not staying/feeling secure? I too toss and turn a lot in my sleep and struggle to find earbuds that stay in all night (which is a whole other problem in itself) and second, can you wear them independently or one at a time? Thanks for your review it was helpful ❤
Wich kinda sound/music is better for sleeping ? I am a VERY light sleeper, even the cats jumps on the beds awakes me haha. Another things is that the one side (of the pillow) keeps disconneting when I sleep on my side. I've tried all things that supports gives to me ! I hope they improve the BT connection to solve this :D. Mine was a gift from a friend, bought it in Netherlands.
Idk if you mentioned this during the video and I missed it as I did skip around a bit. But I am interested in these earbuds but how good would you say they are at blocking out sound. I don’t just mean low sound. I live next to partyers who play music loud until like 3 am and you can hear ut as if they are right next to you blasting it in your face. I was something to block out that sound but I heard these are good while not breaking your bank. What’s your opinion
I probably use them 2 or 3 times a week...so not every night. But I do still like them and I still think they are a much better value than the Bose version.
If the fit is good then you dont need active noise cancellation. My Bose Sleep 2's(batteries are now dead) never had them, and I had the best sleep on them. I say this as I am the only one in my family who works at night, and I have to sleep durring the day while everbody makes noise
