If I may, I highly recommend using SEM Solvent when installing double-sided tape. Safe for all plastics, removes grease, dirt, and most importantly the mold release that is embedded in the injection molded plastic. Good stuff.
Definitely needs matching side skirts and rear diffuser now! Also, interior carbon fiber trim Also maybe it be interesting to see it with side and rear window louvers or rear roof spoiler?

Looking great Kev, still waiting on Longo for my GR86. I was looking at the voltex wet carbon kit but $2100 for a lip is quite pricey. This seems like it could be an excellent alternative.
i have seen the new gr 86 in person and it is a good looking car , better thean the previous one in my opinion , the side front where vent is has a rc-f look to it
The $95 Ebay lip on my LegacyGT came with pre-drilled holes and OEM mounting clips. I will NOT be buying a CF part that the website itself says "mounts via 3M and tap screws." Kinda insulting considering its a brand new car
Looks dope 👌 but I prefer the Aerodynamic front lip options for the GR86 which are all metal and machined beautifully. Not bad for a carbon fiber option though!
Looks pretty good - only problem with a CF lip is that you start wanting MORE CF everywhere else, n' that shit ain't cheap. I fell into that trap with my FR-S, not doing it again with the GR86 LOL! Also, thank you for not including any 4th brake light content.
Looks mean but wish it filled in the gap along the side of the front bumper so there wasn't a gap on the sides... Time to make my own front lip with clay and lots of tape and pull a mold :P I wish... Now i wish i hadn't gotten a dark grey brz -_- the carbon parts wont show up.... lol
Looks good until the first kerb or steep driveway! Self tappers are NOT a proper attachment option. Soon it'll be back to the almost unbreakable Verus!!
Just got mine delivered and not happy at all. Damage to the clear coat down to the fibers. Also there is no way I could use the 3 pop clips like you did. Yours looks about 1/4 inch longer. If I were to drill holes where the pop clips are that would be right on the edge. Also seems like mine is slightly twisted.
Hello! So I recently installed this lip on my girlfriends gr86 and it ended up falling off and completely tore apart on the highway when we were driving. I guess the downforce was too much for the lip and the nails it came with wasn’t good enough so ended up falling apart from the bumper. It was completely my fault for not putting on rivet nuts but how did you secure this lip on your car? I know in the video you put rivet nuts on the ends but at the time of installing the lip I wasn’t thinking and was caught up in the moment. I’m trying to buy another lip for her because I feel bad but was there an extra step you took for it to be on the bumper extra tight? Please let me know, thank you!
looks like a neckbeard, its so chinny lmaoo. Maybe with side skirts and some end plates on the rear bumper the car would look more complete but as it sits its a no from me. Quality looks superb though.
