Finished my 1st playthrough so I thought I'd make a video explaining how New Game + works in Super Robot Wars 30(SRW 30) Subscribe! bit.ly/3fQxbmE Twitter! / revoksul #SuperRobotWars30 #SRW30
They could add a "Enemy NG+" where we get to play the enemy side and destroy everyone for good. Harder, without ally ship but hardcore missions". Or to give us special missions to earn even stronger parts or Boss only mecha. I want to use Inf. To sweep some maps
Actually they are all easy. Just change the amount of life and units that you find in greater or lesser difficulty and that's it. As long as the AI remains just as bad in Japanese tactical games, they will never present a challenge. If they only depend on strength and high numbers of enemies. But they keep throwing themselves to death or you can play with their own AI without really thinking, it's not an xcom, where the AI takes cover, retreats, heals its allies, positions itself against your units and if you outnumber it it will retreat and hide in the fog of war. But this saga of robot war and gundam, they exist for fanservice and not for strategy.
@@DemorKDMK No, the series can definitely be hard, just look at @Gaiden and A Portable. It just needs better balancing and re-introducing some of the older mechanics. Let's hope for the next OG.
So after finishing the game, you can redo the last mission again and again until you have enough points to basically have everything at 100% for the New Game+ mode?
Yup, you can either do the fronts or fight Advent over and over if you want, though I'm not sure how efficient doing the fronts vs doing Advent is. Basically, load the NG+ save it gives you whenever you save from the post game menu.
@@RevoSKL what about separate paths? It's only from the start to the end or like in most, at least 90s games, it's mostly same path but difference only in 3-4 missions here and there?
@@PAINNN666 The beginning route choice doesn't matter too much, only for the first bit of stages, after that it opens up and there isn't any more "route" splits in the traditional sense
@@PAINNN666 They have gotten less "extravagant" I would say, but I still enjoy the newer games. The systems they've been including are great, and make continuous play a lot more palletable
So, from what you're saying, the upgrades we did for pilots and units are just converted back to PP and Money and we have to re do them all over again?
Thank you for the explanation. I didn't follow your lives because I wanna experience the game for myself, but can you tell me what resources are the more difficult to get? Money, Pilot Points or the ones to upgrade the ship? Just to know which one to boost for NG+.
get aos points if u want speed run and more op because the perks are really good also you will be getting pp exp and credit faster if u choose the specific aos ones early also buy double exp credit and pp to keep in new game
Seems like Srw J but is permanent though 30 in case the new unit appearance will not be overpowered still optional to carryover or not that's new then in z2 PP and money always fix depend on times of your new game + count
How many stages?? I played SRW T without the DLCS on hard mode and got nearly 130 hours of gaming....I will be playing this one without the DLCs too since I am getting this one pre ordered for Nintendo switch
Hey a suggestion maybe make a step by step guide for the buying of DLC. I got a physical switch copy and bought the dlc off the Hong Kong eshop and well I can't use it.
Yeah I heard how weird/complicated it is. From what I've heard, you want to go through the Japanese eshop, verify it from that account and then you can use it on any other account on the system
Option A: Set your Nintendo Account to Tokyo, Japan and buy the DLC that way. (Will forfeit Eshop funds if present and disconnect some services.) Option B: Make a new Japanese Nintendo Account and buy it from the JPN Eshop. I went with the first option for this game and it totally works! I had the English physical copy of the game, too! Did it similarly with the physical versions of V, X, and T and got their DLCs as well. (Im so glad V and X came with free-LCs) Doing option A let me keep everything under one account so i don't have to shuffle back and forth between accounts.
Secret units themselves do not carry over, however, carrying over kill counts will satisfy that requirement whether you use them in that playthrough or not I believe. You will still have to destroy units with certain ones on that current playthrough though if necessary
@@RevoSKL on one hand thats great that the kill counts stay but on the other i liked it better when in ux you did a new game plus and all the secret units joined without you doing that
Your 'points' are the total MxP points (The thing to upgrade AOS) you earned through you play. You don't have to save it as it's based on total earned, not how much you have left.
@@xgboost4734 Its definitely not cause that doesn't add up for me at all. I have most every upgrade and, and counting only the 12,000 upgrades I have it adds up to over 156,000 while my NG+ points are only 74,000. Definitely not just MxP.
I'm currently on my first run through. do you recommend finishing the game right away and barely do any grinding? or do the grinding at this post menu (fighting advent/fronts) and get everything i want before doing new game plus?
@@andrewsallee yeah, these are supposed to be your infinite grinding stages, though the AI afk farming exploit i made a video on is far more lucrative lol
I believe X has the most Mazinger related units: Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Mazinkaiser, Mazin Emperor G, Mazinger Zero, Venus A and Boss Borot 30 had Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Mazinkaiser and 2 Ichinanas. T had Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger and an Ichinana, maybe 2. V had Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Mazin Emperor G, Mazinger Zero, Venus A and Boss Borot
@@Aditya_RB it all depends on your choices against Caruleum: Billion People Take lives of others Treat clone differently All equal Eat poisoned food Kind of shoddy translation, but close enough for the options you need to pick, basically you want all left tilts on the scale
Sadly not, I kinda wish they had the option to carry over all upgrades, pilot skills and experience, but it just refunds everything and puts everyone back to base level
@@kirayamato7195 not really, the only other thing to do is fight Advent 10 times, and I guess farm for resources, but I have an upcoming video detailing a auto mode exploit for AFK farming so that's kind of a waste of time too lol
I'm not sure how exactly it's calculated, but I had done all missions and a good amount of grinding the 1st playthrough and that's how many i ended up with
