The warzone stuff was my least favorite part of corruption, it was fun for a little, but felt too much like Halo and turns me off of replays. It takes away from the Samus: lone hero, vibes

I know nobody likes it, but Other M is canon. Dread directly references it in the timeline in the gallery. So you can put that between Super and Fusion.

Well yeah unless Nintendo decided to go ahead and show it off this year and planning releasing it early next year for Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. I'm hoping it's early next year not super late next year like example we won't be able to play MB4B until 2026 hope to God not. I'm hoping to God earlier way earlier like early early 2025. Like January or February. 2025.

Oh I whole agree. Best comment. The U.K., Japanese, even the U.S. got a different trailer. If it's what Retro wants. We'll then to best the game, you will go through the same situation in different ways. Maybe repeating the same things, with more power each time. Think about it? How do you create excellent visuals and good framrate without sacrificing length of game.

Through the magic and creativity of storytelling. Honestly I’m not sure how it would work, but he would be an alternate version of a specific character. Just a loose example, an alternate Solomon or Ian that doesn’t die idk

Better yet a version of Rodney that doesn’t die during the attack on the Colony on K-2L but instead in that timeline samus died. I’ve seen writers come up with interesting stories when going with the alternate timeline/world idea before. Who knows

@Jzthegameboy We shouldn't follow leaks anymore. The Nintendo Switch successor has been teased by Nintendo through their marketing. I think Metroid Prime 4 Beyond will be a "Switch 2" game that'll release in 2025 and this is a fact even without the leaks because we all know usually when a game console "dies" it takes 7 years for a game company to make the next console.

I don't think so because phazon was ( supposedly) completely destroyed with the planet phaaze. dark Samus is made of phazon ( being the Metroid prime), so I don't think she will come back.

You never know. As we have what appears to be time rifts in Prime 4, we could go back to that event.

@@DJ-Frostbite64 Pretty much everything we've ever heard about a potential Prime 4 story (both before and after it's announcement) blatantly states that Phazon and Dark Samus will play no part. After 18 Years, now is the time to build Sylux up as a worthy villain, not to fall back on enemies we've already defeated multiple times and ruin the weight of the previous story completely. Even if Time Travel is a mechanic, it would be stupid to use that to go back to a story everyone's already moved on from. What makes Phazon different from Ridley is that Prime 3 was a clear and blatant ending to a story - the only one we've ever had in the franchise, up until Dread. By contrast, Ridley was largely a tradition; he was Samus's equivalent of Bowser. They don't even try to explain why he was there half the time. For the most part, he showed up again and again, and no one questioned it until later. When people did start to question it, (After Samus acted surprised by Ridley showing up in Other M.) he stopped showing up. (again, Metroid Dread.) So, while yes, Time Travel would be a neat "makes sense" way to reintroduce Ridley or something without crossing too many wires, it would be stupid for Dark Samus and Phazon to reprise their roles as the "main villain" and "narrative crux" respectively, when the focus should be, and is clearly being put on Sylux as the new villain, and possibly his experiments on Metroids as the new narrative crux. Potentially for a new trilogy. Obviously I don't have the foresight to say "It's not happening," but I think it would be stupid if it did happen; Way more stupid than Ridley returning again.

@@jonathanwest8415 I respect your answer. I understand it might not happen and I think it that Sylux would make a great villain. Even if Dark Samus and Phazon do reappear, I think it would be better if they were just hurdles and not primary antagonists. Or they could even be cameos. I see potential in Sylux, I really do. I don't mind something new and I don't want Nintendo to go back on themselves.

Her story was claimed to be done DS/Phaaze.

It DEFINITELY won't be going cross platform lol. Nintendo is insanely protective over their IPs. They haven't shared any yet. Doubt they plan on starting now
