Picking up some of the natural waxy commander! That roughout shoe with the leather sole is super interesting to me also. If I could get their chelsea's to fit that one would be tempting too. Thanks for the video update!

Hi, I got the email for the natural waxed releases and I agree they are sweet. Also thanks for sharing sizing tips for the Chelsea. I also liked the look of several pairs but had read some not so great reviews on Reddit regarding the fit. Maybe, they would be fine for me though.

I'm hoping they release their Chelsea Boot in color #8 chromexcel soon.

UPS just dropped of my brass boot in reverse kudu. First pair of Grant Stone's (own Nicks, Red Wings, classic Johnston and Murphy's) and I am blown away by the build quality. It's....perfect. Like, no flaws whatsoever. Reverse Kudu is the way to go, it's instantly comfortable while still being rugged.

Dale, I was looking into the Natural Minerva myself. Just crossing my fingers for maybe a Brass Boot made in it instead. With a 360 welt it would be amazing but we shall see. That might not be what they are going for.

Had on it just purchased the Bourbon Suede loafers and the Jungle Kangaroo I would immediately grab the natural wax.

I'm guessing waxy commander even in a lighter color is still fairly hot during the summer? Loving both and dig that they've got the diesel on the commando sole but leaning more towards the natural brass.

I need that color 8 in Ottawa or Cap Toe!

Hey Dale, unrelated comment but I just came across a new revelation in my boot journey that completely changed everything 😂 and I feel it’s worth sharing for folks thoughts: I finally found my TRUE size after weeks of R&D .. but in a way I never thought would be right - basically my size on a physical brannock device was 9.5 and so I’d wear shoes based on that, but they’d always be wrong - toes just barely touching the end, sides to narrow, ball not aligned etc. but then I used the online chart from the brannock website which compares measurements to all common size conversions and found that to be perfect. My feet are about 27.3cm, with hiking socks, which comes out to 10.5 on the chart. I wear 11 in sneakers and 10 in Viberg 2030 Shoe sizing always uses cm but the important thing to note is they are referring to the internal length of the shoe, not that if you have a length (X)cm foot you should wear that size. Measuring the insole will prove this. You are supposed to size up by approx 1.5cm 🤯 There’s also an old university study that claimed to have a formula for the 3D size of feet (needlessly complicated if you ask me, interesting to know it exists tho) but I find the chart on the brannock website to be much more accommodating

That’s great. I think I should get one brass boots and a chelsea boots from GS. I am not sure which size to go for. Can you please let me know what is your foot length from toe to heel in CM. I guess we both are same size. My foot length is 27 cm and 10 cm wide. I guess I should be 8.5D or 9D.

Dale, how is waxed commander in snow/ice once the wax wears off? Lots of upkeep or little to no maintenance involved due to the leather process?

Hi. What kind of leather is that dark burgundy Kudu? I mean is it Chromexcel type or something else. How do you take care of it? Cleaning, conditioning? Thanks
