Both are awesome Utility vehicles. They are actually products to be very proud off as an Indian. Providing world class safety, features and looks. Maybe the performance or Fit and Finish might not be able to match up with roboticly manufactured German cars that have super narrow tolerances for errors but Indian Industry catching upto this level is phenomenal. Within a decade we might surpass or breakeven the manufacturing quality of german cars without increasing too much of complexities. Also, local manufacturers need to enhance the aftersale services, since this has a huge potential in continuously making the customer feel bad for choosing thw product and associating oneself with the company. We also need to stop this racist behavior of believing that Jeep, or VAG are better or high class (this includes Toyota too) and support our local manufacturers.
Every customer has there own experiences..in our area mahindra lacks service speacially in attending customers and they always try to get some extra from customers as they are the lone mahindra dealers where scorpio and thar are selling like hot cakes on daily basis. They use to be good when we have old scorpio now they just dont give a damn. In other places tata may feel a bit unattentive but i have been to tata in our place and its much better...it may not be like of hyundai or kia or mg but also not that bad either.
