@@Crackgearson I only recently discovered his channel this past week or two. Was suggested to watch his videos since he was a really skilled player and made good builds.

@@Arphalia yep he is good. From him, I learnt how to master max difficulty in vermintide 2 solo with or without bots. Now, Since I picked up darktide. I am just an insurbordinate proffesional that is trying to bring my heresy to an end. But, defeating a nurgle isn't the so called biggest feat lmao

Thats's because there is laughably little enemy spawns for an auric maelstrom mission, the enemy " horde density" is not high, and there is like only one big "wave" compared to what it usually is like, hence the higher framerates. Also, ( I might be wrong), but I think its possible to alter the spawns in this singleplayer mod.

@BengtEdgar , nah, his games all have full horde spawns, solo or not. if someone experiences lags and animation stutters, then it's down to their network connection, hardware and settings used. by and large, darktide performs quite well, with respect to server ping/lag and rendering.

Darktide naturally increases spawn rate based on the player count. This is the same for vermintide as well

If that's an open question - everyone would want it (other than Ogryn) and any class could potentially use it as this is a warband which does allow some flexibility in lore/rules. Not sure if there's going to be melta guns, bolt pistols or plasma pistols but we'll see ^^

@@MercutioUK2006 Well Plasma Guns are already in the game, just the heretics have them so far.^^ the assassination target and one of those cowardly Karnak Twins has a Plasma Pistol.... Bolt and Plasma Pistol shouldnt be too hard to implement...

@@infectedanimal9830 I guess they won't add plasma pistol just to avoid redundancy, or for balance reasons. The same goes for Hellgun, since there's Scout Lasgun. Chances are that they could add Bolt Pistol for Zealot to let them being more capable for ranged combat, but I would rather expect Melta Gun for them, as sorta 'shotgun version of plasma gun'.

@@XYZ-eo8um the problem with that argument is that they’ve already added a fair few similar if arguably redundant weapon marks, just look at the fact they added 4 new shovels in the last update when 2 could of sufficed Its the whole point of weapon marks

Actually been using this gun last 2 days and I have yet to run out. It's pretty consistent.

It's better with the power sword if you have cycler. Way better.

I don't know if there's a specific reason for chocoB but various attacks reduce toughness significantly heavier than they reduce health. Toughness primarily works as a temp health/shield that saves your real health from damage and your self from getting staggered by melee/ranged if you slip and take a single melee hit or get exposed to a good bit of gunfire. Because at higher difficulties it can deplete so quickly, raising your temp health will maybe buy you a bit of wiggle room against gunfire, but otherwise will make little to no difference against taking melee hits and specialist attacks. On the other hand, raising actual health increases how much gunfire you'd be able to soak in the same circumstances (before being downed), as well as however many additional attacks from all sources you can handle. It's sort of a "best bang for your buck" concept, and this should hold true so long as there doesn't exist an attack type that deals extremely high damage to health but extremely low damage to toughness. Before the recent patches, fire-based attacks (scab bombers, scab flamers, tox flamers) would also break your toughness instantly, regardless of what your toughness was or if you wore damage reduction curios against them. This made increasing toughness worthless, as an instant 100% break is a 100% break no matter how high or low. With the recent patch making their attacks deal damage over time (though still powerful enough to break toughness almost instantly), increasing toughness has some viability, but it's hard to say to what extent with the toughness reduction of attacks being so imbalanced for many attacks.

My guess in solo you don't get toughness regen from allies so having max health is more reliable maybe

Nah it's not just eh. Put Deadshot and Onslaught on for talents. Equip flak bonus for the pistol. This pistol rips apart Maulers if you shoot them in the chest, can one tap flak gunners as well as flak ragers and will reliably 1-2 tap all other specialists but the muties.

Unfortunately it's still not available. The devs mentioned it as something they want to add but I'd assume it's very low priority as most people just use quick play.

I like the slower firing rate, I enjoyed the feel of the laspistol before it got megabuffed and this one fits the bill with punchier damage and stagger.

Very much alive, especially with the two new content drops in the past two months. They just like doing solo runs. In fact, from 10:11 it's all a group run.

This is just what he does for difficulty, I think he did the entirety of vermintide 2 solo as well.
