Into how many computers can I install a one licence software without using ilok? I ask because I have two computers. A desktop and à laptop (Mac mini & Macbook). With the laptop it's very inconvenient to use an ilok key. I only have two Thunderbolt port and I hate having an USB hub dangling down from the laptop. Moreover on the go it’s difficult to have internet (and when I use my laptop it’s because I’m on the go). I can manage something before leaving my home but after I can’t be sure having internet and I prefer not using this horrible dangling dongle. I don’t understand why a « permanent internet » is required. I have Cubase 12 Pro (I made the upgrade immediately after knowing that they abandon the other horrible little friend E-licencer) and they have a system that you just need to have internet once in month. It’s great! (And you can activate it on 3 computers simultaneously) Can’t you have a system like that? Best regards
Hi Philippe, I'm not sure I understand the question, but I think iLok Cloud is exactly what you are looking for. It will automatically log you out on the computer you don't need and log you in on the computer you are currently using. - Paul
Worst crap ever. This is the only software that does not work at all properly with iLok cloud. All my licenses work with no problem, but Synchron Player doesn't find my paid for instruments. And I did a very thorough proper intall, re-install and re-re-install. Everything is where it is supposed to be, cloud session is running, Vienna Assist finds the instruments no problem. But I can't use anything, because Synchron Player only shows the free instruments. Support? Nope. I'm so sorry I spent money on a VSL product when all the competition makes it so much easier and is so much more professional. What a huge mess. Even if it works, why do I have to install an assistent and a player just to run a VST? Shame.
Hi, our support team is working around the clock, every day of the year. And of course all our products work just fine when installed correctly. My impression is that you did not download the iLok-protected sample content yet (which is mandatory, the eLicenser sample content won't work with iLok licenses). The Vienna Assistant makes everything much easier - log in and see everything you need to install right away. Conclusion: Let's try this again! support@vsl.co.at - Paul
