I keep my pots in 1,2,3,4 doses. Sometimes I don't want a 4 dose, like if I'm doing hespori I want all 1 doses.

@@DETH_ADDR Exactly, it's especially important in vorkath. You only need 1 or 2 dose pots and the inventory can carry extra loot, if I used 4 doses then I'm out 3-4 inventory spots.

I do the same when I do Hespori as well. Just 1 sip of super and anti poison, 1 monk and kara, done, takes me like 10 seconds. I also use 1 sip of stamina for stuff like grubby keys, since I can’t be bothered, and I won’t do it for long. I actually stack my pots in order, because I’m stupid, but because I usually sell my 3 dose to people at the end of the month on GE, and take usually a percentage for myself: I’ll craft like 1,000 super defense, then sell 250 3-dose. I don’t boss or do slayer every day, sometimes for weeks because of outside stuff, so, it’s not a huge loss for me, if I’m not using the spare pots.

@@K12machinima yeah I'm the same way except I don't sell ATM cause I'm Ironman lol. When I played the main I was same way. Just a fyi, price per dose fluctuates. Usually the 4 dose potion is more than the 3 dose per dose. Ex. Super defense (3) is 1319 per dose, 1386 for the (4). So might be worth to decant to 4 dose before you sell. It's kind of minimal so not missing out on too much.

Proposition for the mini game: have everything as stated, except add the ability to make orders as well that you can fill for increased potion yield at the sacrifice of XP, ie: blast furnace coffer that makes it where you get maybe 4 dose potions per set of ingredients instead of the typical 3, as a way to make bulk potions instead of 14 at a time

I keep my bank clean and organized enough to keep a placeholder for every potion dosage and jewelry charge in a single tab and still have over 200 slots for my loot tab. Its nice to not have to constantly search for all your potions and jewellry when you do decant and as a main who buys thousands of potions at a time and only decant when i run low, it helps a lot to stay organized. Mobile only btw so no bank tags for fancy banking, we do what we gotta do 😂 but this change to storage will be huge for retartds with ocd like me.

I personally love the concept of a potion storage system. Even if it only acts like the potion barrels at NMZ, it would be great. It would save a good amount of storage, and is extremely helpful to players like me who are just entering the PvM scene, dont have a huge bank, or just dont want to have to worry about decanting all their potions after every fight. I hope they give an option either by default or via plugins to have a default loadout amount that you can one click without needing to math how many doses you want.

With the bank slots for potions, I don't understand why people keep a spot for each dosage. I just keep a spot for the 4 doses and the rest I consolidate as much as I can

maybe an ironman issue but i dont wanna decant my potions after every raid/slayer task. and yes i need all the doses i can get. if you dont decant them after you come back with 2 and 1 dose potions you still use the bank spaces but now its a mess.

@kevinf6266 more xp per herb, yes. But if they try to balance it out by not being able to use the pots, than no its dead content. Honestly, if they make it where you don't have to bring your herbs. But you farm them in mini game, and make pots to defend the skill boss. And the xp is like 20k farming and herb XP an hour. That would be the most populated mini game of all time. Ofc it would be more beneficial for ironmen. But you can say that about every content with a buyable skill.

@kevinf6266 and take it from a ironman, herb and farming are the most annoying skills. Far above crafting. Mainly because there's no real dedicated way to directly get herbs. It's just get 99 slayer and you'll get 85 herb off the drops.(like I did) but the 90-99 herb on a ironman is insane. I get it that osrs takes years to max, but those who haven't tried herb on a ironman truly doesn't even comprehend the amount of time you need to gather 13m Xp of herbs. Probably more time than just maxing a normal account tbh

@@rwwars6948 I hear ya but my HC is doing okay. I love Ironman gaming. I have over 20M exp farming and 89 herblore, and still have a good supply to keep doing it and leveling up (getting some secondaries suck … Zammy wines for example). It really depends how you like to use your time vs supplies. I am sure at least some of the potions will be worth using. Like that aggro one. It would be cool to grow them in the minigame but I don’t agree that 20k exp per hour in both skills would attract people. I sure as heck wouldn’t do that for that rate unless the rewards were really worth it and would solely do it for that and not the exp. Btw, if you do just a few farming contracts per day and pay/favor the kingdom in addition to slayer grind, you will have a huge supply of herbs, depends how much or how often you can play though. I can’t dedicate a lot of time so the short but rewarding activities are great!

@kevinf6266 same, for me I can't multi task worth a shit. So I just do 1 herb farming run a day, i got plenty of seeds. For kingdom, I always forget about that shit 🤣🤣 Maybe you wouldn't do it with that xp rate, but I know plenty that would. It's something you can dedicate to without having to juggle between, and play daily scape.

one of the few times i disagree with condor. the potion thing, are you just decanting every time you bank after a boss? how does it work for pre pots? do you sip one, down to 3. bank it then decant it after the raid? like yea i do the 1,2,3,4 thing then i decant them like once a month lol. i feel like it would be so annoying every time i bank to have 2 and 3 doses flying into what ever tab i have open. i still have like 100 free bank slots, bank is about 2 bil so its not because i dont have anything or im a fresh account lol. i do have quest cape so i guess that helps. but i just dont keep trash in my bank. the potion tab is never the breaking point for bank slots for me, its always been my loot tab. if i cleaned out my loot tab fully id probably free up 100 or so slots.

Yea his take on that is weird. I think the fact that he only keeps 4 dose potions and lets the used potions fly into his open tab is insane. Because hes then having to use the search bar to find his 1, 2, and 3 doses, take them out, remove the place holders and decant. Or hes decanting before banking every single time which is the biggest waste of time ive ever heard of

Im not using a search bar, they're all in the same tab and I'm not colour blind so I can see what I need when I need it, I decant my potions like once every 3 - 6 months because that's how long it takes for me to run out of bank space on average because I don't fill it up with 4 bank spots per potion

but if you sip a 4dose as a prepot you have 3dose now which you store anyway. Same if you come back from a boss with a 2/1dose etc. You still waste the space but now its not ordered. Also obviously you dont keep all the pots ingame, just the 10 or so useful ones

Not sure how to feel about this, the game is eerily similar to Trouble Brewing, the positives being not team based Also I stack 1,2,3 dose pots still, but mostly just so I can decant them easily and whenever, especially since I'm doing a lot of ToA and have a lot of 1-3 dose pots left over, never found it to be an issue honestly.

you say we should stop adding all 4 dose variants tot he bank, but how freaking annoying is it to always decant, when you have 1-2 doses left after a trip... As for storage, I'd rather all potion stack in 1 pile, having the number shown be your doses total. and you extract 4 dose by default.. but I know some people love their 1dose stam/combat to use then have the inventory slot free to keep going, without the extra step to rebank the leftover.) (It might screw up their empty vial scam but hey).

Reagents pouch for my midgame farm allotment hopping for limpwurts. Ive had to drop some strawberries/etc in order to keep space. Not a big deal to drop em but cool I suppose. Also if we can craft without withdrawing frome the pouch, could make crafting potions a bit easier.

Bro is calling "ku-warms" clams lol. Anyone that suggests not keeping 4 slots for 1 type of pot live like a pig I'd imagine. So when I bank my 2 dose venom, and it goes in my tab 2 while my pot tab is tab 5, I have to occasionally hunt down ALL of my bank tabs when I go to ge to decant and delete the bankholder? NTY, I'll keep them all going to the same place to instantly identify a decanting necessity without looking all over for sporadic spots my 3, 2, and 1 doses wind up. Also, your suggestion to only have 1 spot for pots overlooks the 1 dose pre-pot spot. So in reality, you argue to "save 2 spots" by not keeping a 3 or 2 dose, only for that to wind up taking up space when you happen to bank it when it happens. What a delusional suggestion.

@@KingCondor So let's assume I do what you suggest. I pull out almost an invy of 4 dose p pots for whisperer kills. I am in my whisperer side tab I have made custom. I tele back with a 2 dose p pot and want to do another 20 kills, or, I just want to bank and log off. So you're asking me why I click "empty inventory" is going to put my 2 dose in the wrong tab? My 2 dose will go to tab 1 if I do what I just described. That means you're suggesting anytime I have a 3 or 2 dose I got to tab 5 (pots tab) before clicking empty invy. The stupidity is people having a cluttered bank to have bank slot issues, not keep 4x spot for 9ish potions (No need to ever have half the potions that exist). I have zero issues with bank space and keep 9 (36 spots) pots in the 4x variants. If you're an iron and argue you need more than half of the potions in-game, you should prob de-iron instead of worrying about 3/2 dose pots.

While you typed a few letters for every item, someone else just withdrew everything they needed in 3 seconds. You can also check supplies a lot faster by just looking at an organized tab, rather than typing 2 letters for everything you want to check.
