Today we take a look at the new Hikvision AI Dashboard included in the latest IVMS-4200 release.
This new GUI allows us to add Facial Recognition products and display captured faces from the NVR database. This also allows us to choose a pre-defined list with differing colour schemes, from VIP to Blacklist. This enables us to quickly identifying what the appropriate action would be for each person.
This solution is very easy to use, colourful and modern. We hope you like it!

Can the camera work directly on the AI dashboard without an NVR? If so, what type of camera can I use?

I have not worked with the exit area triggers. How does it work: Car enters area, only triggers when leaving, right??? Can I use region exit trigger for a car, entering a gated village, having to wait for the gate to close, then drive off? I want to send a trigger when the car exits the region, via the camera's Output, to it's input, via a N/O mag on the gate. When the gate closes before he leaves the area, the circuit is broken by the mag = no trigger. Otherwise the trigger goes through the mag to the input, with certain actions on the input. Also easier to search for cars not stopping before gate closes... any other ideas for that?

so you want to trigger when the vehicle leave the area and then trigger camera output , in essence its possible , but you may find it doesn’t work every single time, how critical would that be ?, could you not use a sensor to do that job that might be more accurate?

Any chance on showing how to link Hikvision Access Cntrl with NVR, specifically how to link camera to a reader so that video/ images are taken of associated camera when card is presented to reader. Then showing how to access this through the events list using 4200? TIA

Yes I did it on the access control video already briefly to show the linkage, but sure I will do something on this setup

@@ronronromo5776 On the older version it let you set it but the latest v3.2 it doesn’t have the option , do you want the version number I tested before ? I will have to find it if so

Hi , it’s the IDS-9000NXI-xxx/4F ( 8F) Facial Recognition NVR that supports this , I tested specifically the IDS-9632NXI-I8/4F 

Hi , images are pulled from the added NVR device and show captured via this device , unless I have misunderstood the question?

@@Aadon4u Ah to the NVR database , you can add them direct to the local NVR GUI , we have a separate video for this , make sure on the Face Rec NVR this is on latest firmware , when you then web browse into the NVR you need to select “notify surveillance centre” for both compare succedded and compare failed options for all cameras and select correct database , then anyone who walks past the camera will be shown in the bottom picture library , you can add them direct from this tool bar by clicking the image and add , this adds them to the Database on the NVR ibb.co/2YqVLdk ibb.co/zGyyZHG ibb.co/zGyyZHG

@@DVSLTD May I know what model of NVR you are using sir. My bad :( I believe the NVR I'm using doesn't have the face comparison functionality. I'm using this model. www.hikvision.com/en/Products/Network-Video-Recorder/7700/DS-7716/7732NI-K4/16P
