I think it can work but the centrifugal force might break the steel frame since it does not look strong enough to handle such force and the generator should rest after a while. it might couple batteries to store energy for day use. Under the floor, bellow the back leg near the motor you can see the plate is the only one a different color than the rest of the machine frame, it's screwed in the floor and a metal tube goes from there to the motor.
@@Quarn36 7:02 IMO you are correct, also the electric motor is wired in parallel with the welder. Notice they never show the back of the motor? I doubt a generator spinning at that speed would even light those lights up near that bright. That thing wouldn't even run itself longer than a few minutes. What gets me is all the comments acting like it works, either there's a lot of uneducated people out there or RU-vid comment section is full of deceit.

I like how so many in the comments have watched this clip so diligently they now see how you have fooled them. I have to wonder if they have ever bothered to build a model like this in their lifetime or ever seen one of these model generators in real life. On my side bar already I have 8 more such models built with flywheels, springs and offset axels. I like your presentation using the welder and not just lights. I`m currently working on building a steam motor to attach to my Rocket stove. I`ve built a similar model to this guy using magnets instead of springs. I wanted it to power a water pump to lift water so I could build a small Hydro system using reducing pipes for added pressure but it didn`t go as planned.

Learn a bit about Basic Physics, specifically the Law of Conservation of Energy, I would be happy to explain it to you, it is a relatively simple concept.

So SCIENTIFIC FACTS tells us that springs cannot make energy, they can only store what energy is put into them. The same scientific facts tell us that flywheels can only store the energy being put into them. Both of these items CANNOT make energy. So, what is powering the machine? The machine did not start itself from standstill so what did? Whatever that energy was that started it is all the energy it can have and once you take that away it stops. The energy that is contained in the universe cannot be added to it can only be used to do work or to be transferred from one form to another, it is a closed loop. C'est pas impossible, mais comme beaucoup ont suggéré il faudrait faire une vidéo sans le générateur ni courroie pour voir si sa tourne toujours sans s arrêter. C'est le plus important la suite pour une personne avec un peu de connaissance fait le montage sans problème . Faites une autre vidéo en enlevant la courroie pour voir la rotation à l infini
