Thank you again for recommending the Villa bag. I purchased the large in black several years ago after watching one of your videos. Glad they are still making it. So many times, when you absolutely love something, it’s discontinued. I just purchased the small in black and they are still honoring your code a year later! (10% off) That’s fantastic! For anyone thinking of making this purchase, yes, it’s a little pricey (small is $407 US) but the quality is worth it. Just note that when using as a backpack, the less you have in your bag, the better. And the bag itself is a bit heavy but that’s because of the quality materials used. Like everyone else, I love your channel and have learned so much! I don’t consider myself a fashion person. What you have shown me is how to be me, and a better consumer. Thank you! I fell in love with your Emme Parsons sandals and looked at their website. Ultimately, I chose a different sandal with a woven strap and gold-toned toe loop ( gold!!!), and I love them. They are the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought, but I love them and know I will love them for years. I have shoes I’ve worn for 10+ years, and these far surpass those in quality.

It's so funny that you mentioned how your brown purse reminds you of vintage coach bags because I loved your brown purse so much that I scoured the internet for something similar and bought a brown coach willis as a result. I bought the JMB Villa bag in medium earlier this year and I love it! So happy! And! I had a coffee catastrophe (travel cup spilled inside the bag 😱) and was able to hand rinse the bag, stuff it with newspapers to dry, leather condition it, and it looks good as new!

Learning with each new video to shop my closet and have fallen in love again with pieces I have had for 20 years or more. The JBL Villa Sak in deep purple is my one splurge. I took a chance on the color and it goes with everything I own. I rarely purchase new, but that backpack is perfection. Also, your shop-my-closet workshop is still helpful to me, over a year later. Fantastic setting and great new pieces Alyssa. I always love the way you make your wardrobe pieces work hard for you and provide versatility by mixing new and old and creative details like adding a guitar strapp to that vintage brown handbag. I own a few Brave belts because I used to carry them in my boutique years ago. They're still current and in great condition. More of these videos please! My oldest son has been exploring Croatia and He's currently in Bankso, Bulgaria. A stunning part of Europe with its mountains and old cities.

Well, have just bought the sandals. I have been searching for something similar for what feels like ages, not too boxy, not birkenstocks but comfort with a hint of style. That dress is stunning on you. I love the sandals and I need good support as I trip and fall a lot and have an arthritic toe. These might be on my wish list for next summer. I always get my leather soled shoes re soled before I ever wear them. They last so much longer and are far safer

I am one of those people who fell in love with the Villa Sak in your videos and got a custom made one. This is the single most expensive item in my wardrobe BY FAR (and yes, I also bought a wedding dress once). But I love it so so much and I am absolutely convinced I will use it for many years.

Love those sandals! After watching the video and realizing I have a similar pair which I love, wine and they did not have my size. I came back today and just bought the ones in the sand. I think that will be a better color for me than black. I will wait until they arrive to decide whether or not to put the rubber sole on them

I do wish I could find exactly what you have ( for the Asics and others) so I might wait for next season for something more similar. I am late to the show watching this video, but if you're still monitoring threads on these older videos, please tell me more about the black pants (7:28) ! Not sure if they're the same ones, but I see you in flowy black pants in many videos, including your travel capsule videos. Although I have several pairs of black pants, these seem to be perfect for dressing up and dressing down. Loved this video, as always!

The dress is gorgeous! I'm not a bag person either, I think my on the go lifestyle isn't very conducive to carrying nice bags even though I love the look of them. For the same reason comfortable shoes are what I splurge a bit on!

I have a vintage bag that doesn’t have anywhere to put a crossbody strap. Therefore, I rarely use it. I never thought to take it to a cobbler to have something added so I can put a strap on it. Thank you for the idea.,I’m going to take the bag to my cobbler so I can add the strap. I’m so excited to use the bag in the near future. 🥳🥰

I have been eyeing the bari sandals for the longest time almost 2 years I think, such lovely sandals! Were the straps comfortable across the foot straight away or did they take time to soften? I bought a few pairs of slides because they were on sale from $4 to $6 a pair. However your shop the closet mantra was strong. I thought about what I have. Sure enough I have several pairs of slides similar. The new ones will go back to the store and hopefully find new owners.

Second hand shoes are not my thing! Just because my feet sweat…..and the thought of someone else’s foot goo……I love the little bag. Like the backpack too. I like my white POMP shirt. I got a stripy one but the cut made it too boxy so I gave it to a friend after several trials! ASICS are my go to sneaker. When Imran, they fit and were good value. And that black dress is so glam! Have fun on your trip!
