I have so much fun playing with different combinations now, and it's given new life and new purpose to items I had originally thought could only be worn one way.

I did like you said probably a year ago or pre-COVID-19 and took actual inventory of shoes. I noticed I did not have a good neutral flat or espadrilles. I got both and so happy! Comfortable and well made and go with majority of summer wardrobe. Thanks for the education.

I've watched so many of your video's over the last few weeks, and I have yet to find one where you don't come across as the nicest, most cheerful and most respectful human being on the planet. And that's while putting yourself and your life out there on social media with its anonymous audience of a thousand different opinions. How is it possible you never feel like flinging your espadrilles towards the camera, squad in the corner in your sweatpants and just scream at us? I probably would at some point ;) (But in all seriousness, I can imagine that that isn't always easy, so big respect to you girl!)

I am a shoe person and I wear my shoes and boots! I have to have shoes that fit and are comfortable. I never buy shoes that don’t feel perfect in the store because I can’t afford to get blisters or shoe injuries. I like Birks but they give me plantar fasciitis, so not for me. I do have Teva’s and wear them for outdoor activities. Thanks for the hints! I am considering doing one of you consultations. I have recently done a closet purge. I tend to do them seasonally. I recently retired, so do not need as many work clothes. Thanks for your videos. Love it that you are Canadian.

Sandals are definitely a favorite for me in the summer months! I feel as if I've become a lot more sensible in my choices as I don't like playing with trends as often as I used to, and so my collection only consists of shoes I know I can feel comfortable in while also making sure they're multi-functional. I'm not much of a shoe person... handbags is where I really like to have fun and be adventurous 😊

I struggle with shoes! If I buy shoes that look more stylish, I don’t wear them because they’re uncomfortable. If they’re comfortable, they don’t work with my style 😂 I love your espadrille outfit.

Shoe videos are always welcome 🤗 I usually keep my until they literally fall apart or are beyond repair. The one thing I make sure I do is give myself a pedicure when I pull out my sandals. My feet can get dry during the summer so I really work on my feet. Trying new polish color can make sandals feel new. Just my opinion. Love the content and can’t wait to see more 💗

Another very helpful and well executed video Alyssa! You expertly broke down the different styling tricks. As someone who has lived through several fashion decades, I thoroughly enjoy the current fashion times where almost anything goes and we can exercise our creativity to the maximum. I often choose a pair of footwear I want to wear that day and build an outfit around it. By updating footwear for the new season, I make my outfits a bit more current. Bisous chère Alyssa!

I am into some pretty beaded sandals these days that I have had a long while that I painted the soles of to give them a refresh! I like the wide leg pants with Birkenstocks best! . Thank you for another wonderful video, I love how I can apply many of your ideas to my own wardrobe even though they are completely different. On a side note, I'm loving the fast-in, fast-out way of self-promotion (No joke, I do mean it) If you love espadrilles I suggest you put Spain on your travel bucket list, that's where the shoe comes from and you can still find traditional "Alpargaterías " in both Madrid and Barcelona :) Keep up the good work!

My go to summer shoes are my lightweight white trainers and my pre-loved Marc Jacobs sandals. I get so much wear out of them year after year. I really appreciate espadrilles on other people but they're just not for me. Another great video Alyssa! Thank you! 💕

I wear sandals from the beginning of May to the end of September (and perhaps beyond, depending on the weather!). I love the feeling of freedom they give my feet. Of course, sneakers for walking and exercising...but I just love sandals and have a LOT of them!

Obviously, if they wear out, they are gone, or if they hurt my feet, but I still have sandals from, say, 15 years ago that aren't worn enough to toss and I keep saying, "Maybe I will wear them again someday." Help!

I have the most trouble finding a casual sandal with a heel. I have short legs and am a pear shape so I prefer a sandal with a chunkier sole and heel, and they have to be a casual style to suit my relaxed, now retired, lifestyle. They seem to be as rare as hen’s teeth!

Shoes are such a frustration for me. I love them!! but because of the size of my shoe, the choices are limited. I wear a size 12. 90% of what I buy are online and it's better than when I was younger but still...not the same. argh!

For me personally a sneaker in combination with a dress is an absolute no-go, it really hurts my eyes seeing someone wearing it. :-)

Definitely took me awhile to embrace it, but now I love it! A dress or skirt and white sneakers it definitely part of my summer uniform. Often tie a white scarf on my bag to tie in the color. Admittedly it's mostly a utilitarian choice, since I walk a lot. But decided to embrace the fact that it is now considered fashion acceptable ;)

I love your fashion/style videos, but one thing that irks me in yours as well as almost all others, is your ignoring of anyone like me. I weigh 152 pounds and wear a 14 or 16 pant (no two brands seem to agree on actual sizing). So what do I get to see re fashions? Clothes for fashion models or anorexic 16 year olds, OR clothes for women weighing what looks like 300-400 pounds. I would bet anything that neither of these sizes are that prevalent. Why can't I ever see something in my middle of the group type?
