I've just realised I've been watching your vids for 6 years. 😮😁 and you've gone from your ups and downs of Project Integra to importing the real deal, now living in Japan, driving another real deal and now getting into sourcing JDM parts for other petrolheads. Fair play. 🙂👍I know where I'll be looking if I need anything for my car. Looking at your prices, imho you're very reasonable on that score. EG i've seen those Personal boxes go for double what you sold yours for. Luckily I was able to store a fair few spares for my R when prices were low(even free) locally, but stupidly never got a set of HID headlights. My biggest concern is one idiot in a car park reversing into me and I'm off the road and insurance won't cover buying used parts... And those lights appear to be silly money now.
I'm trying as best as I can to help out others. It's insane to see how badly everyone is getting ripped off! However those headlight prices you see are very accurate. There is a set here going for about $3k 🤯
@@MITONFILMS I forgot/missed out on an ebay auction for a pair(in the UK) 400. a year ago i just missed a local pair for 200... Doh!x2😡😁 Whatever about the HID versions Honda produced 10's of 1000's of the non HID for all the DC2 facelift range, yet even they go for 1000+. I suspect it's been agreed that's how much they're worth rather than based on rarity(particularly to overseas buyers, mainly the US). What surprises me is no Chinese or other headlight replacement company is producing even a short run of them. When ratty non HID with broken tabs go for 1000, I reckon aftermarket copies would fly out the door at 4-500 imho.
