I am definitely not interested in the weight. I never used a quarter of any of my products. I wish they made all mini's in everything and I would be just fine.
The moment u swatched the first one, I immediately thought beige mitzah (which I wore today actually) before u said it lol. Those look very pretty, I’m a sucker for a single shimmer shadow! Thanks for showing them.
I'm always a sucker for eyeshadow as I like to play up my eyes. Very much wanting, and think would be handy, to have the JR patina and penny, as well as the Dior beige mitzah. Thanks Jen!
Whoaaaaaa, STUN-NING!!! I love your eyeshadow videos! 😍 Those all look so gorgeous. Sort of remind me a little of a couple of the shimmers in the Persona Identity 1 pallette shimmers. I just got Pat McGrath midnight sun pallette and the "so pretty" shade reminds me of the impact of the pat mcgrath blitz one, but I think the Jonas road one looks a little easier to work with. The "soft" application of "so pretty" was still impactful and gorgeous, and then the application with the finger was next level 😄. I think I have enough shimmers right now, but these look truly gorgeous and will keep them in mind in the future. Thanks for the review!
I have yet to try Jones Road Beauty. I am extremely interested because I have read Bobbi Brown’s books for the past decade and she really seems to be the top of the top when it comes to understanding skin and color and how to look like yourself and not overly made up and your skin looks like skin. I never thought I could afford the Bobbi Brown cosmetics. But now with the Jones Road price point I think it’s totally possible and I’m probably going to place an order tonight. When you mentioned the weight of product., I have to say I haven’t used it yet but I going to go with the way it feels. If it feels like pancake batter ( haha 🤣) on my face, then I think that feels heavy but if it feels light and airy and just makes me feel great then I’m not too worried and I feel like it’s a good quality product. But again it has a lot to do with the way I apply it and I think I just have to try and figure it out on my own.
I agree - it does have a lot to do with the way it is applied and I do think that there is quite a learning curve as well. I really love the eyeshadows, as they are gorgeous!
I think Bobbi Brown was owned partially by a larger company and after 20 or so years she reached a point where she was really tired of fighting the company for what she wanted versus what their vision was. I don’t know all the details but I think she just reached a point where she was ready to leave so. The company Bobbi Brown has her name but she is actually not affiliated anymore with the company. She started her own brand Of skin care and make up that is much more minimalistic and still has such a great authentic take a natural beauty.
Estee Lauder bought Bobbi Brown in 1995. She left this company in 2016 and started Jones Road in 2020. She says she is a clean & cruelty free brand whereas Bobbi Brown is not
@@Bekindtopeople That makes sense. Once you sell your brand to a larger company it's going to be hard to really have your input with the products unless I guess it's stated in a contract. Thank you!!
