You'll need a special tool to take it apart. It's so obvious if you know what to look for. On the button side, part of the pivot around the threaded shaft that has 2 slots in it is a hollow screw/nut. You need what is basically a screwdriver with a slot milled out of the center of the blade to make room for the threaded shaft. Unscrew that collar and it'll fall apart.

I love the look of this knife , it just needs little touch up . The button is a little sketchy can see myself disengaging by accident , different blade shape and I'm sold

I want to comment that you're missing the flathead split screw in the pivot that needs to be unscrewed. You could use a spanner 90° flathead. It should have come with a tool for that.

@@NeevesKnives for first 2 were the button locks. I thought the first one was just a dud but then I got the second one and it was just as bad. The 3rd one was the wild species and all the deployment methods were just not good for me.

Man a premium version of the button liner lock version of the rhino yip the funk e couldnt be happier this thing looks amazing. Glad i didnt buy the reate as this looks much better imo.
