New Kyosho USA-1 Nitro First Run & Test Drive - One Major Issue You Never Want to Happen 

The USA-1 is in a class of its own. The only true monster truck you see today. And that’s what makes it special. I wouldn’t mind having one of these around. They are sick!

Usa1 is not monster jam, nor was it ever. USA 1 was part of the tnt monster truck series. Evrett Jasmer got out of it when they wanted the trucks to start doing trucks and flips and it all became coordinated. He was in it for the racing and for the show truck scene.

That truck is cool The USA 1 I'm glad you quick enough to catch your runaway Nitro Truck !!! Kill switch I's the first thing I'm installing when I get my 1st RC truck. Sickening !!!!!!

I am currently deciding between this and a Savage X 4.6 GT-6. A Savage will obviously be a better basher, but the looks of the USA-1 is just incredible and something special with the solid axles.

These are special trucks. Getting the 3 speed shifting right was tricky for me but hearing it come up through the gears is magic.

Great video Hybrid!! 👍👍 I like the Kyosho USA-1 especially the solid axle design with the 5-link suspension system. Very rare nitro truck has this kind of setup. I wish Kyosho will relaunch the nitro Foxx 2.0 rock racer.

I think the runaway could be related to a dead throttle servo. I have experienced a couple of Kyosho stock servos failed during the engine break-in process. The Kyosho radio system has built-in low-voltage throttle cutoff protection, so the extra led lights would not be the cause of the runaway.

Back in 10th scale gas truck days had a crystal pop out on in a regional race Amain in like Losi NXT. Was about 40min in to the hour main 3 laps on 3rd place and was sitting about 10 seconds behind the leader... the zip tie around the airtronics Fm receiver slipped over just enough to let that damn crystal pop out coming over a big triple that I over shot and missed the down slope landing on flat track that fired that crystal out of there and that NXT/Nova .12 took off like a bat out of hell... running across the dirt oval track and over in to a big field turn marshals finally got it when it flipped ran over to my pit grabbed about crystal set threw one in the Rx taped it down and popped the module out the Airtronics Caliber 3PS, ran up the drivers stand pit guy bump boxed it and I was back in the race with about 17 mins left. Was 2 laps down on 2nd at that point sitting 3rd. Ended up getting one the same lap as 2nd and running him down with about 3 mins left to go. I set a nitro stadium truck lap record while trying to chase down 2nd breaking the old record by .2 sec. I finished the race second but what a race it was! One I'll never forget because of that run away. That race also happened to be truly huge to me because that was my first big race with Team losi as a sponsor as well as Trinity/EPIC and Novak. After that race I ended up picking up Picco as a engine sponsor as well! I was the only female sponsored by Losi, Trinity or Novak at the time. Ended up running for them for 4 years! Meeting Pops Losi and Gill as well as the Big Earnie P really was high lights of my youth!

3 speed Baby!

I switched the gearing with the inferno gt3. You have to use tube on the gear shaft as spacers. It works better than factory. The 1st gear on these is literally just for wheelies, you still get them with the gr3 gears.

Hey Dimitri, I want your opinion on something. I built up a rc8b3.2 pretty good and have only drive. It like 4 times for breakin before breaking the starter box(the compression is sickening). I found a sweet rs4 3 with a cvec and a 2 speed. I already have a losi ten t(amazing car) that kinda does what the buggy does, o think I should sell the buggy and get the rs4 since if I sell the buggy for 450(worth more but whatever) I could buy the rs4, and have money left over to fix some of my older trucks since I don’t have a job(younger nitro gang member). Anyways what do you think I should do?

It wasn’t a run away for real was it Was it a high idle with a rich low speed nearly out running out of fuel. It happened to me once yesterday and I have a new battery fully charged. The only thing I can see is possibly a loss of signal from all those transformers and electrical devices. The spot at my local mall where the big light pole is somehow caused a loss of signal and could make a runaway happen easily.

Great video, but doesn't sickening mean bad and horrible? The Kyosho USA 1 aint sickening. Its quite a powerful handful and a high piwered beast capable of 60+ mph , thats damn fast. I dont thick its sickening. Sickening is like shit , and bad this is freaking AWESOMENESS. I was going to get myself one but stupid hobby shop i use talked me out of it and trued to convince me to go electric power. So i didnt buy it at all. They probably wanted it themselves or for their friends. Im in Australia, and parts backup plus RC cars and trucks, in fact anything RC takes a damned fu#king long time to get over here and always very very limited supply. So i missed out. But this shop i go to is really annoying me and are about to be abandoned and i will take my business elsewhere. Like for instance ive been waiting over 1 year for a Traxxas Ford F150 high trail TRX 4 1/10 scale. I pre ordered it in may last year. Still hasnt arrived. But other sgops in Melbourne Australia are stocking it. Time for me to get a refund and shop elsewhere. Great video my man. Im subscribed.👍💪
