I’m really digging this rig. 3:25 rears...cool. The worst thing about the newer trucks is the DEF junk. Disk brakes & remote lube...interesting options.
Funny how things work! Was just saying to myself last night that if I won the lottery I would call you up Steve and get a grey Pete but with a 13spd and double bunk with a fridge. Great vid as always
That truck is very similar to the 2012 Pete I had. Even the overhead doors above the driver's seat is the same. Gauges and switches are all the same as well. Nothing has really changed in the last 6 years.
Steve I love the color but I think I would be disappointed if I didn't go with the black cherry so do you get that color in often or do you have special order them? that's my dream rig!
One of my very favourite built I would add a burn orange to the color; maybe on the fenders and frame rails maybe. I am not a fan of the Nav insided, I would go with a full gauge package. But this is close to excellence. I wonder if you guys are allowed to sell new trucks to Canada without issues to cross the borders and registration problems once in Canada. I know you cannot do it with new Cars.
Peterbilt Steve Yes, maybe, but if I win my health battle, like I was saying to you a few months ago, I might pay you for a week, plus hotel and expenses to help or guide a local guy. To spec a truck right, your style, we a few of my touches of course. Just saying it’s one of the options I am considering if I win my health challenge. Funny how you forget about your comfort in 30 years from now when you are in my shoes
I'm not even ah fan of trucks, but after seeing these vids...wow...like em all...good job... gonna go trucking school n get me 1 of these beauties...😂😂👏👍
perfect to set that one up for heavyhaul. Antennae location also helps for front callout on your CB radio. Highway Star from Lafayette Louisiana had his antennae located there and he could broadcast out, forward facing, for about 25 miles.
More inside details please...i feel like ya'll skimp on the inside video....i want to see storage details from corner to corner...tv mount, plugs, inverters ect... As a female driver give me the outside specs, nice colors, but my main interest is the inside
No TV mounts, no outlet plugs, no inverter, business center in passenger side closet and drivers side closet is for hanging clothes. Thats about it. I will work on covering those things more, thanks for the input.
DEF usage is still the same or so that is the input I am receiving so far. The creaky hood gets much better after the hood being opened a few more times.
Peterbilt Steve I've just always wondered if it could be done. I'm sure it could I just haven't ever seen a truck with it done. I think it would look good.
Phillip Lee its a 379, you can tell from the headlights, on the 379 they are rectangle and the 389 it's alien looking, also the side chrome part is diffe rent, I love 379s more , they look better to me more badass looking
Tag weight will be around 18700. A PACCAR is 12.9 liters and maxes out at 500hp and 1850 torque. It is also 300lbs lighter than the 15 liter X15 that goes from 400hp/1450 to 605/2050
