Hi! Happened to be here to see the lipsticks on an actual person and I really like how natural and slow paced the video is! It's very calming and frankly I love the finger swatches with slow building of layers, because it really allows me to grasp how the lipstick might work on me. And tbh it's how I put on my lipstick anyways, hah! I find it giving the most natural effect, even if I go with a liner later. Thank you for the help! I feel a bit more confident about my purchase now :D
I was surprised by Night Thoughts too, because I also prefer purple. I find that wearing a purple-leaning blush with it helps bring out the cool tones! I have been thinking about getting Velvet Midnight too-glad to hear you think it pulls more purple, because that’s what I’m after. Thank you for the lip swatches!

Sunday Matinee looks really chic and flattering on you! More sophisticated than an ordinary pink; it gives a slightly muted, dark-ish effect the same way deep burgundies do on deeper skin tones. Glad you gave it another chance. It is surprisingly different on the lip compared to the bullet. All of the colors are wearable on you. New Wave, fantastic.

@@theartbeaute I decided on Rosy Shell and Strawberry Shock. I’m normally drawn to more muted colours but wanted to get bright pinks and reds this time for a change. Hope they look good on me as they do on you!

Love the swatches, the saturated cooler pinks do look really great on you, would you say you're a winter in season/coloring typing? Strawberry Shock seems to be the runaway favorite by a lot of people. I really enjoy seeing people enjoy and explore Lisa's launches, she's such an artist with colors and such a gracious lovely person, followed her forever just for fun, always nice to see people appreciate her work.

oh that is a hard call... they're both a warm pink nude lip shade. Velvet Petal is more muted and a bit more pastel, Sunday Matinee has more vibrancy to it, at least on me. Sunday Matinee has a bit more of the tawny golden & red tones in it than Velvet Petal. Hope that helps! xx
I understand your disappointment with Sunday Matinee as I think you expected something more muted but it looks gorgeous on you please keep it don’t give it away. Strawberry Shock looks magnificent on you, it’s definitely your colour 👌🏼
