The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation. The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of the animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover who loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.

Thank you for the video. It is so good to see little Beau doing so well. Even though you know that after the initial tauma their lives will be so improved, it still break your heart to hear them calling out for their moms.

Another amazing video. I honestly doubted Beau was going to make it but due to the dedication of you all, he is beginning to thrive. Floki sadly still seems to be struggling with his leg. Is it likely he will end up with it being amputated or will he have further surgeries to try and rectify the damage? The little samango was so sweet curling into Zee. Thank you for filming in spite of your travelling I for one appreciate it. There will be a special place in heaven for all of your dedicated staff who work long hours and experience so much more of the hardships we merely get a glimpse of.

Kudos to those who kept things going in your absence and what an interesting episode you produced on your return! In regards to the Samango are they to remain, (in their own troupe), as a part of the Vervet family or after a time will they be moved on? Are the Samango an endangered species?

Sweet video. Just curious about the marilla fruits that are rotting outside the enclosure at the beginning of this video. There seems to be a lot of rotting fruits and I wonder if those fruits could be gathered before they rot and given to the monkeys?

Great video. Is this old video mixed with new? Flokki still looks exactly the same while the babies he played with are now young adults in troops. Wasn’t there another Shamango female baby introduced a few years ago?

Must be an old video cause Disney land floor was repainted and g flokie leg was operated on and he was walking very well plus the samango monkeys it was so kid also cause Lil’s was the only other samango female but even thought its good to see a lot of my favorite monkeys. I still believe flokie should be the official mascot for the vmf ….
