I do an absolute poor job of using presets, but you have definitely provided excellent case studies for using some. The new masking really changes things, a lot.
@@photorectoby 1) I would love to see the ability to simply mask and layer images in Lightroom for combining processed astro shots with ground or replacing sky. 2) i would like Lightroom to do a MUCH better job of removing objects - the bandaid does not cut it in many simple cases. Just adding the option for me to define the area from which Lightroom will search for the fill would be very useful! 3) good focus stacking would be useful, with areas that ere not able to be aligned between images highlighted so I can manually touch it up. Many of these features are in Photoshop, but the implementation is poor and kludgy. The Lightroom framework offers the opportunity to streamline and simplify these common tasks.
