@@PizzaFatflock I actually have 200 gb free space out of 250 but, I've heard that I'd require a brand new hard drive with no stored files for backups and currently I don't have that 🥲 and that's why my Mac dosen't support most apps because of old software
No I would not have bought it if they didn’t include the charger…that’s where I draw the line!!! Lol it’s included I bought mine 2 days ago..it’s amazing js…
yet they're garbage. The cpu is very good but what's built around it makes it an anti-consumer, anti-ecological, anti-repair choice of excellence. Fuck Apple and their propaganda.
Everything about the MacBook Air is new, the keyboard is full sized, the screen is bigger, has a 1080p camera, MagSafe, M2 and it has a completely new design. Leaving the wedge design behind
Me too, imagine you watch a movie, it’s in the top middle of the screen, it’s not like on the phone, it’s on the side when we put it in the landscape mode but for the computer 🤷🏼♂️
@@painincorporated8913 how is it different? It looks exactly the same! Oh you have a separate port for charging? Guess what, it's not new! Been that way 10 years ago lol
@@nsejahemmerson6298 yea, I don’t mind it being plugged in but it’s already starting to get pretty slow, think I’m gonna upgrade to the new MacBook Air pretty soon
yeah it has since the m1 macbook pros released. its fine but i dont think that the notch is entirely flush with the menu bar. i think some of the menu bar peeks out from underneath which sucks
I have had this laptop for a year and I have to say one of the most beautiful and helpful laptops I’ve ever had (I’m saying this as a student who just mostly use it for school things like encoding, attending online class, research, and such. Nothing too heavy.). Definitely more pricier than laptops that can also do the same and be just fine or do better even, maybe. Still though, having a great experience so far.
I used to work on these MacBook's. Granted, I mainly worked on the 2012, 2013 and 2015 MacBook pros. The majority of the issues I repaired were due to overheating, and water damage. The housing/form factor is absolutely terrible when it comes to airflow. I never once considered on buying one of these, but they do look nice.
Man as an Apple fanboy and a car guy at the same time I love what both Apple and BMW are doing to make their M1, M2, M3 chips, and even in the future M4, and 5 chips. I also love how they are now redesigning the whole body of the laptop to make it boxy like the old-school BMWs.😊
I’ve been watching so many unboxings of MacBook airs ever since I’ve found out I’m getting the Mac air m2 in midnight for Christmas. I have the 2013 MacBook Pro so it’s a huge upgrade
why didn't they just add a whole punch camera or a dynamic island, they could have gotten rid of the notch considering the camera and face id components are not that big and appear to perfectly fit within the top bezels, it would have looked pretty good, hopefully, they do that approach next year.
The battery life is simply incredible on this laptop. Activate low power mode and the laptop will always remain completely cool while giving excellent performance.
I have a Mid-2013 MacBook Air, that’s still running on completely stock parts. The battery works but won’t hold charge, obviously, given it’s age. It’s still very much useable, however. Say what you want about Apple being overpriced but, to have a MacBook still running on stock parts from 2013, that’s insane build quality.
Apple: we have the fastest chip in industry right now. It's even faster than Rayzen and Intel The M2 chip: "lagging to highest setting of Fortnite" Apple: ... So how about we just go to the payment? 😅
@@vanevo897 Not exactly. It's one of the 2 festivals we get per year. One is after 1 month of fasting, and the other one is after the pilgramage to Makkah. Hope this helped!
I always get the pros because they’re the only 15” option. Got a new one last year finally. Then they unveil the 15” Air that I’ve legit been waiting for for like a decade lmao
I still have my 2012 MacBook Air. That thing has lasted! I have to keep it at 75% battery or it dies but it’s kept me covered for over a decade. Once it does I’ll buy a new one. I wish MacBook had a magenta pink MacBook Air that was the size of an IPad.
I was going to buy it over the 2022 M2 Pro but that damn notch… I just can’t accept it after having my 2014 Pro for so many years. Also, I think having the touch bar at the top on the Pro is a lot more appealing, even if I don’t end up using it much. Pro still looks better IMO.
I got mine in space gray and ngl i was very intimidated at first because I didn’t know a single thing about macbooks but then I realized macbooks are fairlyeasy to maneuver.
And yet the „biggest improvement“ is one of the most useless ones as well Who cares about the M2 that much? Only creators on a budget since the basic M2 got the media engine unlike the M1 missing it. But anyone caring only a bit about performance/price ratio would have picked before the M2 release already a 14“, better 16“ M1 Pro base model. With the M2 Air, especially M2 Pro/Max machines the M1 Pro base models in 14 and 16“ got even more interesting!
Lady ripped me off; tried buying one on marketplace, she had it totally shrink wrapped like a pro, perfect sticker, bought it for my sons graduation was saving up for a long time, I’m disabled and when it was opened it was a broken tablet from the early 2000’s and some baby wipes( I guess to they put those in there to dry my tears). I was crushed. I know it happens, but was hoping for the best. My kids are my heart. So my trying to get him one in the future. Great video.
I know people complaining about the fingerprints and smudges, but god damn look at that colour, it’s exquisite!!! Like I bought a glossy black coloured car inspite of family and friends warning me about the high maintenance it comes with, I went ahead and don’t regret one bit!!! So for those considering getting the midnight blue, definitely go ahead. You’ll get used to the smudges !!😄😄
