It has NMC batter. Not good in a EV battery is the only & most important component, but they are doing cost cutting in that as well. Rear AC vent and all will not work if battery itself is dead.

Finally what i wanted from SUV 400 from the beginning. Better interior design and better overall package.The only thing for me missing is V2L feature and better color options . I will surely buy this model 😍.

The only negative point is NMC battery. Nexon has LFP battery which is safer.

Safer? Safer when subjected to what? Yes LiFePo4 won’t blast like li-ion but again how many times have you seen mobile phones around you blast/catch fire in past 10 years? NMC is older than LiFePo4 and has lesser charging cycles agreed but the rate of discharge (that juices motors) is higher in NMC and perhaps that’s why NMC is chosen in performance ev cars Moto-e and ev f1 could give some more clue. Not sure what they r using

Some Nexon lovers are commenting like xuv batteries are inferior than Nexon My observations are... NMC (used in XUV 400) batteries are more expensive than LFP.(used in Nexon)... .. and because of higher energy density weight of NMC batteries are less so more suitable for automobiles... regarding battery charging cycle... ..if the NMC battery gives 1500 charging cycles.. for an XUV with 450 km range means a total of 675000 km... regarding thermal runaway...heat issue.... for NMC it is around 400 F and 500 F for LFP.... So if cooling system is working fine it will not create any issue or if cooling system fails both will have similar risk

Lfp is newer chemistry and nmc battery pack is used in cold climatic conditions but no he will not tell us the truth, he just manipulated by comparing with Tesla and bmw , why because that's the complete paid promotion and also he didn't mention it's the paid promotion. Anyday Tata Nexon Ev is better product.

The outer look is not great, the interior is good though. Now Nexon design is not good, especially from the back. that connected lights only look good with red colour, that front white light looks ugly. it may look good on video but in reality that is shit as it is not sharp that gives a laser-like appearance with red colour.

Mahindra can add a New variant with these features and price accordingly.
