This was a great review! And thank you for the eye crepiness/ shimmer shadow discussion…I’m 55 and I also find that shimmer is sometimes my friend. 😊

@@InfinitegardenbyBethK I've been a "no shimmer" person for many years now because I'm old enough to remember the extremely shiny makeup of the 80s. The only exception is a little bit on my inner corners when I have time and remember to put it on. However, maybe I need to revisit this. Maybe a little bit of subtle shimmer on my lids wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I agree, Beth, that this palette makes perfect sense as an addition to the brand’s product lineup. I was considering this one but am on the fence because it doesn’t seem like a very fun palette. I’m looking for fun! I have singles of the mattes I need for blending and creating neutral looks, so I don’t think I need a full matte palette. Always appreciate your balanced, thoughtful reviews!

Thanks for the kind words! You know…I didn’t say it, but I did consciously think that this palette is zero fun. But it’s also a great base for fun eyeliners-so idk 🤷‍♀️ it’s solid.

Hi Beth! That was super helpful about the eyeshadow palettes in the Makeup by Mario line. I have the Ethereal Eyes palette, and neither of his all-matte palettes. Your review helped me to understand the M by M formula better. I think I'm so used to my favorite matte eyeshadow formula (Viseart), that the M by M eyeshadows were a bit confusing for me. I think I'm going to go back to my Ethereal Eyes palette and give it another try. Thanks again! 🦋🧡🦋

I’m 55 with crepey lids so thanks for the shimmer tip! I also have a neutral undertone so this palette would be better for me.

Hi Beth, thanks for the video. Yes, I like this palette, and I was interested in hearing your take about it. But I think my verdict is "pass", at least for now. I have a lot of eye shadow on hand, and I need to use up some of it before I buy more.
