I love that when you were n the midst of your review, your child said “Mommy?” and you completely stopped, answered his ? , then continued. I don’t have kids but nothing turns me off more than moms completely ignoring their kids while blogging. Family first! Keep on rockin it girl! ❤️
This!!! There are so many beauty influencers who ignore their children and get upset when they ask questions or want attention while they’re filming and it’s infuriating! Milabu is so gracious, calm and loving while she films, I really appreciate that as a mother.
I haven’t tried the Milani contour wand dupe but revolution pro have just launched one and I’m going to test that out this weekend, it looks so good and so much more affordable… I’m so here for all these dupes 😍😍 x
Love what you do Milana and love your family too. And thanks for these dupe videos, helps a lot of people. I just wanna add one thing. Kindly do not use the word ‘cheap’ makeup brands. Drugstore is not cheap anymore, although it was. Plus I know a lot of people who save money to buy just drugstore products. So that’s absolutely not ‘cheap’ for them. I would appreciate if you use some other term/terms to define drugstore products rather than ‘cheap’. Just a humble request. Much love @Milabu
I’ve recently become frustrated with some drug store brands. For instance Milani Eye shadow stick and the infallible eyeliner have such a minimum amount of makeup that the value seems less than more expensive brands. Anyone else notice this?
@@rucing1011 , I honestly feel like I’ve been scammed. I thought I may have bought products that didn’t work correctly….didn’t push up….but the amount of product is minuscule. I’ve been meaning to reach out to the brands after I bought the products a second time (to see if there was a mechanical flaw).
@julesbee6249 I find that it's the mascaras for me that seem just not as much product. After only a few applications, the product just hasn't been there! It is frustrating, to say the least...
YES! I was just thinking this yesterday and thought it was just me! Several of my eyeliners and brow products by L'Oreal and Maybelline have been running out twice as fast. And I have not been wearing/using them any more frequently. It makes sense because L'Oreal now owns Maybelline. (Many people don't know that.) I love L'Oreal and many of their subsidiaries but they're really starting to piss me off. They are an enormous company and don't need to be cutting corners. Prices are going up and product amounts are decreasing. 🤬 I'm about to just strictly go with independent brands.
@@deniece0821 , infallible brown eye liner is my fav but I’m going to switch to a higher end product because I’m convinced I’ll get more product for my money. Same with the milani eye shadow pencil…a great product but totally rip off for quantity. Ugh.
I don’t even wear foundation. But I love your videos and it just came on next so I’m watching it. 🤣. You don’t need foundation!!! My god ! Your skin is AMAZING 🤩. I’d kill to go back to my 20’-30’s . I had great skin up til the last couple of years . I need to wear foundation. I’m 45 and now my skin is red all the time . Got some wrinkles too . I have to be super careful because I’m prone to fungal acne . So. Bet I couldn’t use amy of these products cuz I have to avoid so many ingredients. It’s a bummer . You’re gorgeous! Thank you for all the work you put into these videos. And your hubby is cool . I saw him help you curl your hair . I watch your hair videos a lot lately 🥰
I may have to try the Milani mascara. I have to have a tubing mascara. Anything else tends to transfer or flake on me. Right now my favorite mascara has been Maybelline 's Lash Sensational Sky High mascara. It's taken me forever to finally find one that works for me like it does. Like I said, I might give the Milani a go. I've had a gazillion people recommend the Thrive mascara. I really did not want to try it because I'm vehemently against MLM companies. I'm mostly looking for something that lengthens and doesn't weigh down my lashes. Not concerned about volume. I have plenty of actual lashes. They are just short and are easily weighed down. I will diligently curl them and they will look great. As soon as I apply mascara, they immediately start falling/drooping. Even with waterproof formulas. It's actually very frustrating. I have pretty good lashes for my age...the little suckers just insist on pointing outwards to where they are parallel/horizontal.👀🤦🏻♀️
I've watched for years and only noticed today that you have 1 eye more green and the other more blue lol, love watching dupe reviews saving us real money and giving us your honest opinions 🥰
Her eyes are so pretty, right? I was blessed with nice blue eyes but I have red hair and have always wanted to try green eyes. 😁I actually found some colored contact lenses online. They have 65 different colors/combo/designs. One is a blue and green exactly like Milana's. I'm thinking about getting them. I've never tried wearing contacts, though. I'm wondering if they'll irritate me. 🥴 The slightest thing in my eyes irritates the crap outta me.
You’re the first person I’ve heard talk about that neutrogena cc cream. That is one of my favorites. It’s absolutely beautiful on my skin. The shade match is difficult though, and a sponge is the best way to blend it.
Get ya some liquid mixing pigments from LA Girl Pro or NYX. They're excellent and don't affect your foundation formula at all. I have a light-medium complexion with olive undertone. It's INCREDIBLY difficult to find a proper foundation match for me. The pigment drops are a lifesaver. I just add a little green, sometimes a smidge of red/orange or blue of the foundation is too warm or cool. Once you know what colors cancel out each primary color, you can adjust anything with pigment drops. They also work great with concealer! I've heard that Elf has pigment drops but I haven't been able to find them.
@@deniece0821 don’t know about elf drops but they have amazing new color correctors (wand/doefoot) - one of them a blue one that is everything i need in the winter to my fav cc-cream since i get to much cooler in tone
Almay blush blows me away! Almay used to make an amazing cream shadow in a tube - like sooooo good - but I believe they have been discontinued. Makes me curious about other Almay products...
I love your reviews of stuff!! You just always show us if the work your true feelings about certain products!! Excellent work!! Hope your family is well!! Take care @Milabu/Milania
This is a great video! Your skin looked so luminous❤ I am glad you like the Milani mascara, I love it as well but many people cannot stand it! It’s so interesting. I have the Gucci blush and will now try Almay😊
I bought the Neutrogena cc cream and wasn't a fan. I had high hopes, since the regular foundation has worked well for me in the past. I have dry skin and this applied awful and looked dry and patchy. I tried it multiple times with different moisturizers, different spf products, with and without face oil, etc. Nothing seems to work. I came to the conclusion that dupes are not worth the money, at least in my experience.
I tried the Almay blush months ago but just wasn’t a fan. Took a great deal to build up color, and by then the shine was too much. It also wore terribly patchy. Ended up discarding it. There are a few lovely drugstore blushes but this one wasn’t for me.
Revolution IRL concealer would have probably been a better choice to see if it was a dupe for the Huda faux filter because they're supposed to give the same effect of looking filtered
I love the Thrive mascara- I'll have to give the Milani a try! Love to see you review MAKE beauty- I love their concealer, blush sticks and lip serums.
