New Management Plan for Southern Alberta Hawk 

The ferruginous hawk, known as the largest hawk in North America, has been a resident of the rolling plains of southern Alberta's grasslands for generations. Despite past conservation efforts, the bird's population remains endangered under Alberta's Wildlife Act. As a result, the government of Alberta has released an updated plan to protect this majestic bird and support its population growth.
