I love how some parts of the swamp are traversable, some are too deep, and there's almost no way to tell which is which. That's gonna lead to some VERY fun times.
What I love so much is that every water place is different than the other Swamps - more yellowish Ocean's - clean Rivers - like spiro's murky and brown Lakes - clean on the surface yet blueish within So I love that there's variations for everyone and everyone can have their own preference.
Very relaxing video! This map is one of the few planned additions for the "near" future (we know what means for The Isle) I am excited for, especially if the game switches to UE5 eventually.
Question, I know this is random but what are the graphics like in Unreal Engine 5 (UE5)? I searched up some videos but is that really what The Isle is switching to? Cause if so, that would be epic!
@@TheRealCARCHARO The switch to UE5 alone won't change the quality of the models the devs are currently using for the game, but it allows for very realistic lighting and objects loading in far away and smoothly transitioning from low to high detail as you get closer to them while still performing well. UE5 also has a massive free library of high quality assets that the devs might make use of.
I've been watching the isle since the beginning and it's never been so beautiful I appreciate this channel keep it up Pete with the edited videos they're the best, maybe someday I'll be able to play this gorgeous game

i love how the Rivers are dark and murky but the lakes are nice and clean With a bit of blue and lets not forget the ocean danm the devs worked hard on this one *chefs kiss* i cant wait!.
The new map looks so sick and cool. I like how they 'played' more with enviroment and make it more interesting then map that is rn... from huge lake to small rivers with plains... up to swamps with huge undergrowth. I really like also the landscapes, looking more real? Iike more rusty and actual a shape of rocks... Truly amazing! Thank you, for showing us!
Honestly its a relief to know people were working on gateway in the background when updates were super slow. This map is absolutely already stunning looking. Sure gateway has been in the process for about a year now I believe, but this progress in just a year, for such a map!! This is great. My hope for the isle is slowly being returned, with the hopes of seeing troodon and beipi soon along with this in the future, man I can't wait!!

I caught the little stream of this map, and i cant wait for it to drop, it looks sooo good, you can tell they went all out for this map. Id love to see them do somthing like Animalia Survival, where without rain the water levels drop, then fill back up during rain/storms, i think that would be a cool addition, especially wirh that much water, could make some competition if it doesnt rain for awhile
As frustrating and impatient I may get with the progress of the game, man do they have something beautiful going. I believe in the team and can’t wait to see what they make out of it. Thank you for showcasing it in such an amazing way.

Anyone else get the feeling that the swamps in Gateway reminds us of the first map that we played on, what I'm talking about the map that was playable with only Utah and Teno. Or is it just me being delusional?
Seeing these incredibly deep bodies of water making a deino look terribly small makes me wonder about future aquatic dinos, especially apexes, that we could encounter in these waters
This is very cool I love all the new environments and details of gateway. Just wanted to know though, is this an expansion to the map that we have or a remodel of what is already implemented ?
They aren’t gonna have it on consoles any time soon but hopefully once it’s near release in the coming years we could see The Isle on consoles, let’s hope for the best!
isn't the map suppose to be smaller overall? I would think that leads to more player interactions. Besides all they gotta do is make the plant zones near water places and you'll have interactions.
I hope that was the last new map. There were definitely a lot of resources that would have been nice for the gameplay. Nevertheless, very nice work, I'm looking forward to it.
it would be cool if they made it so that your field of view was the same as the creatures. so predators would have better forward, detail. "prey" would have much more field of view, especially when turning the head. crocodiles have the ability to scan the horizon without moving their heads. so in game, you could turn to view without the head turning, or if it turned, you would be able to see completely behind you. ive been watching a lot of videos about the isle last few weeks. looks like a fun game.
This is my first time hearing about the new map. Hope to get a release soon! The current one doesnt have too many points of interest for people to go to, making it dead pretty much everywhere except center.
