Along with Jar Jar Binks. I admit that one shamefully.🥲 I was the type of kid who made up horrible self insert OCs to ship characters with.
9:04 Just a heads up, if you soak the figure in some warm water for a bit, it’ll make the material more bendable so you can easily place objects in their hands instead of brute forcing and potentially breaking them. I learned the hard way with my Pyramid Head figure (luckily the company gave me a brand new one so now I have two lmao)
Love it whenever you wear the noodle doodle shirt! That combined with the Mario toys feels perfectly suited for eachother XD the bowser toy is actually really cool! I’m surprised how good the paint job is
Holy hell. I would have friggin LOVED those Mario action figures as a kid. Especially when I was obsessed with MUGEN and having a lot of crossover battles with other action figures. The Bowser is nuts, too. Like that's a toy that does everything you'd want a Bowser figure to do.
My favorites have to be Mario and Bowser, (which I already have both of), with my second favorites being Luigi and Toad. Princess Peach is okay, great sculpt, but not a lot of articulation. Would still get her though!

By the way you should review the Tak and the Power of Juju McDonald’s toys those were super fun 3D platformers some of my favorites on GameCube, the games were so popular they even got McDonald’s toys for Tak 3 in 2005 :)
Hi Peebs, I just got the Mario Movie van. You know the pipe you said had mould on it? It is actually a cloud. If you put Mario inside this pipe and put the pipe back so the cloud is high up and then push down very hard Mario will fly out of it. If you are good at it you can get him to go through the pipes. You can get him through the dark lands pipe and into the dark lands.
0:37 - "This has been opened?!" Oh dear. Someone probably stole something from the box. 1:01 - "I actually don't see instructions in here." Ah! I think we know what was stolen. ;P
That van revealed a lot about the premise of the movie actually, I've theorized alone that they are regular plumbers indeed, just trying to get by and they come across a job where the pipe is big enough to fit a human down. There will probably be that bit in a movie where they are very confused/afraid/curious and they argue who should go first. Mario goes first and he falls down met with two different branching pipes. He goes down the one that leads to the mushroom forest like the movie trailer shows! He's obviously very confused and where he meets Toad etc. So Luigi tries to go after him but he picks the wrong pipe after the initial drop, then he is in a dark forest like in the trailer and eventually is chased by the dry bones and whatever I forgot lol. I wonder how accurate or completely wrong my theory will be!
Man, am I glad you’re still making wholesome content and just being yourself. I grew up watching you but stopped after the whole Jared drama. (Weird time for RU-vid as a whole). But forget that, I’m just happy you’re still the same old laidback, fun loving dude. I’m glad to be back and look forward to watching some drama free, nostalgia fueled great videos!

Great stuff Peebs, I always adore your toy review stuff, the fact you clearly have fun with them is awesome. So many 'serious' toy reviews just seem to forget the items are toys and should be fun. It also always makes me laugh as I can imagine your wife answering the door to someone, they both hear you making all the crazy noises and you wife just sighing and saying "Don't worry , he's just playing with his toys again."

Peebs, sometimes the toys don't do anything because you need IMAGINATION to make them work. When I was a kid, i had this Yoshi toy that didn't do anything but move his arms. It was my favorite thing for literally 3 years. I took it everywhere. It may have just been a piece of shaped plastic, but to me it was my character in an infinite world around me limited only to what kind of epic, wacky, or dramatic situations i could put him in.
Maaan~ seeing these kind of gives me flashbacks of Media Play, this big store back in the 90's that would house all kinds of goodies like movies, songs and toys from all over! I remember getting Kingdom Hearts figures and a Greymon plush from yhere before it went out of business but i remember seeing all kinds of stuff i wish i got. These just remind me of those kinds of toys.
