Angels! Today we are looking at some gameplay for renown. The new medieval survival slasher. I am playing in first person and in a duel server. Renown game is in very early access however the core of the combat is starting to take shape. It can definitely use some work I will keep you guys informed as the game develops.

This will not be a direct competitor to chiv, chivs combat is in another league. This will be like ark survival

@@StridahsAngels oh, for a survival/sandbox game, the combat is alright. I, too, thought it was trying to compete with Chivalry, but I see it's on it's own league.

parry window needs to be drastically reduced or maybe a system similar to chiv 2 rly high skill floor slashers die too fast

I downloaded the demo from steam today to try it out. Kinda reminds me of mordhau. Definitely interesting

Yeah the demo is still up but was supposed to be only last week so I think people don’t know you can still play.

Why don't they just make the combat a little more mordhau like? This is sorta... clunky? I wanna say.

so, chivarly 2 is son of mordhau and improved the multiplayer aspect and revitilized a bit the duels aspect, this game is the second son and SHOULD improve the duel aspect of mordhau, but i dont expect this to surpass chivarly for the multiplayer objectives gameplay

I don’t think duels or team death match will be in the final game. It will be open world survival
