I wish tyson was sparring against faster younger sparring partners for this fight to make it more accurate, he's clearly training extremely hard but the sparring partners arent as intense as Jake would be in the bout. Regardless its gonna be an awesome match even without a knockout its going to be cool to see how mikes fighting still holds up.

Throughout the whole video i was just thinking what honor would it be to spar with this man, even if you just get hurt, to be insite a ring with him and feel his presence and power even at his older age, you could probably get a pretty good idea of what it would have been to actually face Mike at his prime on a real fight not a spar, and thats just amazing to think about for me 🔥

The timing is not there yet, probably because the cardio is not there either. It will improve. In the past, Mike would start bobing/weavinb BEFORE lauching an attack. Now he attacks THEN bob/weave. That allows his opponent to lock on target and hit him while Mike is coming in, like at 2:06 where he eats 3 punches coming in for not faking/being deceptive enough. I suspect it is because he's tired. Being tired makes you "lazy". Bobing/weaving/faking is tiresome... and when you're tired, you'll neglect it.

You can see him tire. He can look good for a short time sadly. If he is slower coming forward, it is easier for his opponent to time a devastating punch on moving in. Jake Paul managed to do this is all of his knockouts. They Haden’s been fights stopped by the referee for overwhelming the opponent.

I like to think Mike can kick Jake's ass..I have been a fan of Tyson since his Amateur days. I boxed as a heavyweight in my 20s. And I can unequivocally say, Jake will knock Tyson out. Noone beats father time.

Taking hard punches in sparing at Mike’s age and length of career makes no sense. His punch resistance will be a lot lower than when he was younger. Paul probably won’t land many punches anyway, plus he isn’t a power puncher. I personally feel Mike has far too much experience for Paul who is (at best) a novice pro. I don’t think the age will be that much of a factor, bearing in mind Mike boxing IQ.

Living legend or not, at 58 your ability to heal from repeated blows to the head is greatly reduced, fighting past 50 is a recipe for CTE. But fighters have known this since it was called "punch drunk" and not so well understood. By entering a career in boxing you are basically trading in your own long healthy life for a shot at big money to secure your family's future
