New model Whirlpool dishwasher reset 

OMG, this actually fixed my dishwasher! It is 4 years old and recently stopped washing the dishes in hot water and not heating to dry no matter the cycle set. We got a repairman in that costed $120 and he said all parts tested fine and would probably need to change the control panel but would cost $280 + labour and take 12 weeks to ship! It was unplugged and breaker reset but I guess he didn't try this 1-2-3 sequence reset!! We were almost going to buy a new dishwasher! Thanks for saving our Christmas! I'm going to subscribe!

Dude, I changed the door latch (it was loose; i had to lean on the door to start a cycle) and the control switch assembly. Still couldn't select cycles other than long, with sanitized rinse and heated dry. Nice, but not always what you want. I was JUST ABOUT to order a control board for $169. This reset did the trick. Thanks a million! Thumbs up and Subscribed!

You just saved me hundreds of dollars. Our pump had to be replaced and afterward the heat in my dishwasher didn’t work. I thought we would have to have someone come replace the heating element or maybe even the electrical. Tried resetting using this method and it works perfectly! THANK YOU!

Great video I have a new kitchen aid and stopped working The rest code is the same of what you said. But when all the lights are on just close the door and it will do a full cycle and reset Thank you you saved me time and money.

Thanks, this worked to stop my dishwasher from overflowing. Valve and float were working, but would overflow after the first rinse cycle. Works fine now. I don't think I'll ever start it and leave the house, I just don't trust it anymore!!

Omg thank you brother you just saved me big time from heading to Lowe's. My whirlpool is a good series with less buttons. I tried the vinegar cleaning method not enough water coming in did your code on the cycle buttons like you said it went through its little dance for about ten minutes then i did a quick wash with heart dry and WA-La just like new! I have a different model where buttons are on the front. My dishwasher was not pumping the water out and it left the dirty water at the bottom and also dishes weren’t clean. I used the same steps and it took couple of mins of humming voice. Voila, it pumped the water and dishwasher is back to normal. That you for the tip.

I have a slightly different model, same buttons but in the front of the door rather than the top. My dishwasher fills and drains, but doesn't wash..well, sometimes it washes but never rinses. Any help would be appreciated. It seems to be sick with the electronics but the reset doesn't fix it.

Hello, my question to you sir is- the soap dispenser appear to work (open and close) with any problems. I run the wash cycle and dishes will not get clean and soap has leaked and pooled to the bottom of the dishwasher. Also, on the board the “add soap” light comes on…any thoughts to this? Thank you.

My dishwasher starts but stops at the exact time everytime. Unable to find the issue ?

I have the dishwasher and my issue is a little different. The light on the front flashes blue. The lights flash under add dish and washing. Then they turn solid and nothing happens. The water doesn’t turn on. I tried pressunfvthrv3 buttons 3 times and nithibg lit up or changed. Any ideas??.

I have the same washer, however, the “clean” light along with the light on the right upper corner of the face of the washer continuously blink and as a result I can’t perform any cycles. I have tired resetting the power, holding the lock button 3secs, and it won’t work. Any Thoughts?

Thanks ! google would not provide this simple fix that fixed mine a few months ago. now random lights (same dishwasher as this video) are intermittently coming on while all buttons are unresponsive. if you close the door it wants to run as well. I'm thinking the button panel is bad (there's a crack on the far right).

Cedric, thank you for your help on the whirlpool dishwasher, good job. My problem is that I reset it just like you showed and it worked, but when I go to run it and push the start button it looks good like it’s gonna run then the start button starts to blink and the “Add Dish” and “Washing” lights on the display also start blinking along with the blue light on the face of the unit. I know how if you open the door in the middle of it’s task that the start button will blink because the door was opened and you have to push the start button again and it will continue to run its cycle but this isn’t happening. Any ideas or suggestions as to what might be wrong. I appreciate your help if you can. Thank you Sir.
