Dishwasher wasn’t running. Beeping and blinking 8 then 4 times. Diagnostics said F8E4 was the float switch. I pulled out the tray that holds the float switch, and it was full of water which was triggering the switch. Wife told me a bunch of water spilled down the door when she was doing dishes earlier lol. I emptied and dried it all out. Put it all back together and the error went away. Thank you for the video on how to diagnose this!
My wife opened ours mid cycle and the drip pan under accumulated a few ounces of water. And quit. Opened thw bottome reached in with paper towel to soak it up and away it went again . Before all that i shut off breakers And tried to reset it. Was the styrofoam float.
We have a Kitchenaid KDTM404ESS2 that stopped mid-cycle after adding some utensils. We use ProScrub all the time with SaniTemp, SaniRinse cycles. NOTHING WORKED from any video until I read one line in the service manual. "PRESS ANY THREE KEYS IN SEQUENCE SEVERAL TIMES" Blinking lights out and the computer rebooted. All is well and saving on a service call is like winning a $300-$500 on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
At 3:19 there is a noticeable skip in the video. That's where I'm confused. After the 3 sequence button presses, all of the LEDs light up, but they just stay solid. What did you do during the skip at 3:19 to get the codes to start flashing? I tried closing and opening the door, pressing start and just waiting but the solid lights never go away.
My Kenmore lasted 25 years. Mechanical . My LG lasted less than 15 months. Computer panel. There's your problem. Junk nowadays no matter which brand you buy.
I've cycled power on mine, same model, and I am still having the same issue. No power, no button LED's nothing. I've cycled power, I've checked voltage going into the machine (hard wired) and it shows 120V. I looked through my technician cheat sheet and there is only one little blurb about a fuse. It says on the sheet F9-Fuse. My dishwasher still has no display or beeps. I'll bet my issue is a popped fuse in it, but I can't locate the fuse. Usually these are easy to find on the top inside of the door. I have push connections everywhere. Can someone help me locate the fuse so I don't go out and have to spend a grand on a new dishwasher?
press and hold 2-4-8 hs delay boton the light goin to turn on same time press and hold cancel boton in to the light turn off. turn the machine on, will fix the problem.
