We are changing things up in a big way. The b5 S4 is a getting a 2.8 12v VR6 swap. Bottom end will be built to handle boost and we are looking to make 550 whp once all tuning is complete.

Heck of a project. Needed to replace a gasket. Ended up replacing motor. Love it! It's gonna be killer, can't wait to see it finished.

VRT the world! That motor mounted longitudinally is incredible. The big debate, what is better to work with, 12v or 24v?

Cams are super cheap for the 12v I definitely recommend them if you’re gonna invest in a built short block!

Aw man im building a b5 s4 with heads from an na 2.8l was hoping to see your progress on the single turbo (after the old one died) and if i should go that route. But now you are going a complete diff direction.. Oh well. Good luck ill keep watching anyways

hey whats the best vr6 for boost? searched as much as i could and not sure if the 12v or 24v is better and what liter motor also

Hey man The 24v is definitely a better motor overall and for boost. You’ll have much better head flow which will be vital for power. And the 3.2 liter would be best but 2.8 also a great option.

I honestly don’t know what the total is But I’d say around 7k if you’re willing to do a lot yourself and you’re building the vr6

@@CIPGAS look at malakas channel and other VR swaps, they never get done 💯 there is always some issues lets be real. A K04 RS6s or 605s are always going to be a much more reliable build with around 500whp thats B5.
