@@dustinvance243 ? What do you mean they stack? Might be missing something but the only one that stacks is MxC + 1 of these cards, because of the 1 Mulchumy eff per turn restriction.
@@esgown4184 They both say you can only use 1 OTHER Mulcharmy effect per turn. So you can hypothetically use Maxx c+1 copy of each Mulcharmy or use Maxx C + 2 copies of one Mulcharmy in one turn.
@@esgown4184 The Mulcharmy say "You can only activate 1 other "Mulcharmy" monster effect during the turn you activate this effect.", which means you can activate 2 Mulcharmy.
It's gonna be GY/Banishment in one card, like the other 2 Multcharmies before, drawing from 2 different summon methods. To complete the 4 elements, they might realease a 4th one with a different effect, I expect a Multcharmy searcher, making their 2 Multchrmies per turn restriction very relevant.
I think the only reason Konami lumped Deck and Extra Deck to Fuwaross is the fact that they are the main section of Zones to get cards from for almost every deck. There are some decks that would Special Summon a lot from the banishment whether for the grind and resource potential or as their main way to play. From D.D. and certain Psychic decks to Metaphys, most Zombie decks, Myutants, Swordsoul, Ghoti, and Machine decks feat. Machina package. There's enough and may become a strategy involving certain tech cards if the top deck and engines gets hit alongside checkups of the next impactful below them. I imagine if Yubel decks get hit, there are Fiend support cards that bring back their monsters from the banishment which could end up be an alternative strategy to fall back on. You just never know if Konami would shift the design strategies through banlist decisioning. If they do, lump Grave and banishment together for the next Mulcharmy card, it'll probably be a Maxx C in support for grind games, so it'll have a different condition to activate and possibly the effect of the second bullet than the other three. I wouldn't think of any other effect than your opponent Summoning something for these series theme of cards.
Going 2nd decks gonna be insane and there's probably gonna be a 3rd Maxx c like card and the only balance to this is if you have a hand that's more than plus 6 cards ur opponent controls then u randomly shuffle things back into ur deck
Now *this* Mulcharmy will see play in every Side Deck and might even be Maindecked. Unlike Parulia, a lot of Decks love being able to summon from the Extra Deck, so it hits all those Decks. And if you run this, Parulia is also even better in the Side Deck since that hits what this one couldn't
Finally, better machummy. They really just split maxx C into bunch different summoning condition eh. So banish and grave next. Its good direction tbh as this might make going second bit better than before. This only usable going second kinda fix big op part of maxx C too. Imagine card so powerful u need to split it to multiple cards and add more restirction to em lol. After all malchummy release, OCG might finally ban maxx C .
Thats just insane and the fact that even though maxx is split in 4 *and* nerfed on the way ( shuffle back in endphase)... those cards are *still* better than 90% of ygo cards T.T Im crying maxx c is lit. a god card in ygo... they should errata its attribute to devine at this point.
@@Pkey995 yea indeed xD. They also add important restriction to malchummy as they can only be used mostly for going second anyway. So no throw maxx C god card on the top of ur unbreakable board haha.
I don't think so because many Japanese OCG Players (which are the main focus of Yu-Gi-Oh) would not like bulking the Main Deck/Side Deck just to replace 1 card for 3 cards (or 4 if they want to make a Search/Cycle (MTG term) card for them)
@@alpha34098 hmm they prob won't yea. It's meta dependant card anyway, but this malchummy that hit deck and extra might see general usage like maxx C, if it gets banned in the future, at least in side deck coz it's bad going first. The purulia and grave / banish one later tho, prob only will be used in main / side deck if the format demands it aka good vs meta deck in that certain format. But won't really be used in general.
@@invertbridBut the idea that you'll have to accommodate Main Deck (which is very tight if most keep insisting of playing 40 cards (when it supposed to be a Minimum)) and Side Deck (which is also tight already) just to replace 1 card (Maxx "C") with 3 (or 4 Cards if they also make a Search/Cycle/Activate from Deck (the last one being the best option since it can allow you to have less Multchummies in the Deck) in addition to having to bring other Handtraps (and Anti Handtraps)/Board Breakers + Engines, will make Deckbuilding even more of a chore than it is now. Is not that the cards are good enough to replace Maxx "C" in the OCG (and MD) when it gets Banned, but the Deckbuilding issues that will arise with the fact what would make Banning Maxx "C" not a good idea even with the Multchummies existing The only way this will be feasible is if the maximum size of the Side Deck (and why not, also the minimum size of the Main Deck) gets increased. But to enforce that, the Master Rule needs a change (which is in addition of the many changes that we also need, such as reworking Pendulums (so they're no longer restricted by Links but have bigger restrictions on the Mechanics) and Links (so they become less mechanically broken in general))
Good I'm glad to see the theory that there will be multiple different versions of this card released before they even think about touching Maxx C in OCG is coming true. The Bug might finally truly die off, and card design will be less imbalanced between OCG and TCG since Maxx C will be gone from both.
Is it better? Of course its leaps and bounds better than the 1st one. Rage set was kinda eh which was to be expected after infinite banger set. This secret and 100$ card lol. Saving money for this single and the link 2 pirate ship for my eldlich kashtira deck
I think the melcharmy hand traps might be an archetype of hand traps that makes you draw 1 card for a certian action your opponent does and then shuffle back any excess cards so you don’t deck out in the process but my guess each attribute of Melcharmy monster (in addition to having a cute monster on the card artwork) punishes your opponent for performing a specific action by making you draw a card for every action we currently know the water punishes your opponent from summoning from the hand and the wind punishes your opponent from summoning from the deck and extra deck, there could be one that punishes your opponent’s gy summons and retrieval or punish them for token summoning or even activating spells and traps from your hand or maybe punishes your opponent’s hand traps there’s as much potential punishment options they could do for the archetype as there are ways to play the game
2:26 Both Snake-eyes and certain Yubel builds summon a ton from the hand. On average, if I let Snake-Eyes play certain cards, I can draw 2-3 cards, even more if they're not pure Snake-Eyes. Off of vanilla Yubel cards, I can draw like, about 2, maybe sometimes 3, but if they mix in the Unchained and Sacred Beast packages I suddenly start drawing _a ton._ Even rogue decks like Heroes have a fair amount of summon from hand effects they rely on. Thanks to these factors I actually wouldn't ditch Puruliya, and am _more_ than willing to play both.
From a financial perspective; yes makes sense to release them in higher rarity. IF Konami wanted to do sth for the metagame, they would print these new generic handtraps in lower rarities so they would be more accessible for everyone. Well I guess this is a new secret rare
Infinitely recycle multiple battle shoguns back into the extra deck then summon them again, recycle, summon again, recycle, summon again, deck out the opponent.
Welp, once again it’s basically just maxx c but again. I liked the first one because it didn’t feel like an instant auto include but still felt powerful when you could use it. This one however is a guaranteed auto include and just bring back the reason why maxx c is bad. Remember you can activate two of these so each time gets you two draws Sigh… I hate it so much, so much of Yugioh this year has just been annoying as hell.
Now they gunna give us 6 maxx c and ban...which is onky going to make the game worst. Just put maxx c back at 3 amd removed these new problems. We dont need new handtraps they need to be abolished.
Really hate these cards. I understand they’re toned down Maxx “C”, and while they solve SOME of the problems with the card they don’t solve all of them. This is still the type of card where if your opponent drops this on you turn 1 and you’re playing some deck that needs a bunch of summons like Salamangreat, your best move it to set any back row you have and pass.
Nah these are fine though they have limits and don't draw nearly as much as Maxx C also them being mostly going second kinda negates the whole problem that people complain about where people can full combo and drop Maxx C.
Pfft. If you draw some handtraps then you already cutting down on the amount of non staters in hand to shuffe back. Not to mention you will, at the very least, have seven cards in hand plus what you get on draw phase.
