Hello and welcome, before commiting to a mass nail varnish purchase online I checked the local shops out for the cheapest experiment batch, kids toys section to the rescue!

I found this batch of 15 nail varnishes for £5.99 down the kids toy section and thought that will do for an experiment befor buying a bigger batch of proper nail varnishes off eBay (which I since have, 52 for less than £25 which I thought was pretty good.)
So gave them a go with the coasters again, plus I had some acrylic markers to give a try aswell, been itching to have a play with them so here was a perfect oppertunity.
I will be visiting these again, definitely more experimenting to be done.
