Hi, Mo! I ordered the Retro palette (along with some other goodies because, all the sales and free shipping is too good to pass up) after watching several people swatching and applying it in full RU-vid land lighting. It does look a lot more muted in natural lighting. (I appreciate that you use natural lighting!) At least I won't be shocked when I receive it. I still like the color story. I just hope it shows up, on me, the way I imagined it would. Thanks for another great review!

I am so glad I watched this. I don't own any ND and dont need any, but these mini palettes would be my go to if I got a palette because I just dont need any big palettes. This is the one was the one I was drawn to out of all the mini color stories.

Hi Mo! 👋 Happy Easter! I was waiting for this video. Thanks for the swatches with natural light! By seeing it online I thought the greens were like grey-ish tones ?? But they are really pretty and wearable! I’m going to wait till the 17 for the Sephora sale to get it! Thanks to your helpful videos I got the viseart Paris, elf blush, UR A QT and colourpop concealer (already had the tinted moisturizer) and I love them all! 😃

Thank you for the honest review and natural light demo. Perhaps the matte pink would show up better if you first applied the ABH primer. This primer really helps enhance light shadows. Unlike concealer, which can distort shadow colour, the ABH primer brightens lid color while providing a non tacky base. The only caveat is that it must be applied very sparingly (just a dot for both lids) and spread over the lid quickly - it lumps up and flakes if you use too much, or you wait too long before spreading. I apply it only on my mobile lid because that's where I apply light shades. I hope this primer never gets discontinued - furthermore, I hope that ABH starts making it in darker tones, because this one best suits very fair to light-medium skin tones.

Here in the Upper Midwest we were supposed to have snow as well but dodged that bullet. Instead we had a lot of rain and today is very windy, 50 mph wind gusts. Glad it's not trash day! :D I always have a hard time choosing shades of cosmetics online, especially if it's something I've never used before. Thanks for the review and critique of the shades. Thanks for your videos, I really enjoy your opinion and the natural light. Your skin and eyes are like mine and I liked everything that you have recommended. Of the Nathasha mini pallets the one that has fitted me the most is the mini Star. The transition shadow is perfect, rose gold is my favorite and I have thousands, it has a beautiful chromatic duo shadow too. If you have it I would like to see a tutorial on your skin. Hi Mo! As usual, your review has helped me decide whether I want a palette or not. I don't think I want this one after all. I'm disappointed that the taupe color is so very neutral. And I'm not a big fan of the ND toppers. There are a couple of them in my Gold palette, and I never use them. I would love to have Pixie and Industrial in my collection, and it would be nice to have 60's too. But those three shades wouldn't be worth $25 to me. I was looking at this palette as I am drawn to olive lately but I have the Lime Crime Venus XL 2 Eyeshadow palette which is similar colors so I am not sure I 100% need this one. Especially since I did have a 5 pan palette previously that I was not impressed with. What to do...What to do!
