The Nissan Qashqai e-POWER has finally landed and here is our General Sales Manager Aaron taking a look at how to get this car ready for when you drive away in yours!
Fantastic video, Aaron - thank you. This will help me set mine up when it arrives at my dealership. I know the salesman will go through some of these with me, but it's always nice to touch/play about with the settings when the vehicle is sitting on your drive without any distractions to get a proper feel of the system! One query, does the N-Connecta (Glass Roof) e-Power - have the charging pad as a standard fitment? I cannot remember reading or being told about this when we placed our order? Keep on posting these amazing, easy to understand - in depth reviews/information/demonstration videos. If I was living locally to the dealership, I wouldn't hesitate to give you my business 👍🏼
Brilliant! If only all car dealers did this! Meet too many sales people who know nothing about what they are selling. I always gen up on the vehicle and ask them questions to see if they know what they are talking about. If they don't, I walk out! Top marks to Nissan for keeping volume and heating controls that can be operated without taking eyes off the road. Mobile phone use banned and they install a touchscreen ! Hyundai Tucson! No thanks! Dead easy to choose a car now, no simple controls for volume and heating, no sale. Last of all! It's made in UK!
Yes, I'm very disappointed with the touchscreen only controls. Very dangerous, even at slow speeds, to take your eyes off the road for so long. Some reviewers have likened a preference for physical buttons to being elderly or technology phobic but that just isn't the case. This car seems amazing on paper, ticks every single box for me.
Just going a bit too fast speaking wise for this 71yr old. Just a little bit measured so I can take it in please. I'm getting a Acenta Premium in just 2 weeks waiting. It's understanding the ePower Regen in towns, will engine come on much? In town lots of braking. I normally brake gently with car momentum. Regen braking is quite sharp, won't brakes wear out more? As a Motability customer most get the base model so make sure you take that in instructing. Thanks.
@@vickylewis8558 Approximately 3 months according to the dealership. But i know somebody that been waiting for almost a year now for his Nissan Leaf full electric. Hopefully doesn’t take that much time for me to wait.
It's been 3 months according to YT. Did your car arrive yet? Were any of the spec features missing? I'm looking at this car as all the others I like have removed features and made them additional extras they charge for but don't provide. This one feels way too good to be true!
Gun Metal Grey or is it Gray! It's a 2 week wait, my first choice was a dark green called Ocean Deep. I would have 10 ready of each colour & if Green one is bought you then do a replacement back to 10 of that colour.
Thanks for this setup video, very helpful. Is it possible to start A/C remotely from the Nissan Connect app? In order to cool or heat the cabin remotely before getting into the vehicle Thanks in advance 🙂
I think this is part of "remote start" feature which is only in US / Canada , and in Europe it does not exists. But cannot find any official information. Simply, full equipment / tekna+ , key does NOT have fourth button for "remote start", and option "remote start" in EU should not work for Qashqai (epower or others). Only for EU / plug-in hybrids and EV Nissan vehicles , remote start will work from Nissan connect app. Can somebody reference link / state otherwise please?
Ive got the Kuro edition. Great car but when im driving it i have Sport, Standard and Eco mode along with epower and ev mode.....anyone have any idea what to use, when and where.
@seltaeb3302 thanks for that. I obviously did a test drive, but they didn't say a thing about all those options. In fact I've been underwhelmed by car salesman in general and their lack of knowledge of the cars they are selling.
I am a happy owner of a QQ J 12, what I don't understand is how in a car as modern as E-Power they still use incandescent bulbs, it was hard for me to change all the bulbs to Led
Intelligent key has been around since 2008, no spare wheel at all not even a space saver, front bar for moving backwards and forwards and levers for up and down? Antiquated!. Cmon Nissan up your game, no wonder your falling through the ground in ratings, even Kia and Hyundai are above you! I still drive my original 2008 Nissan Dualis and love it, was looking to upgrade soon but with this latest spec i believe it is not worth it, perhaps 2024 🤔
Disagree. Many of us prefer the hand adjusting. It's more robust & easy enough. These electric buttons adjust will play up after a while & expensive to replace. They are rather fiddly, a hand job is best, but it's a personal choice what suits.
