My son turned 11 back in April! We had a park party for him and his friends! I made his soccer cake! Literally dollar tree cake mix and green icing then I got soccer cake decor from Amazon! Super easy and everyone loved it !! You’ve got this⚽️💚

I also have 4 kids, but with a larger age gap. Mine are 18, almost 15, 6, and 2.5. My older two have consistently won kindness and citizenship awards. Someone recently asked tips for raising teenagers and my response was "it starts when they are toddlers". I love your perspective on this, because it's just like mine. Raising a good person starts at home when they are young, this is so important in my opinion. Looking forward to all of the bay house content as well!!

Literally don’t blink! I did and my baby just graduated high school on the 8th! And my momma heart is so sad but so proud! I would love to see a more grown up playroom makeover now that your boys are getting older. Perhaps a cozy couch, arts & craft/sensory play table or shelving to organise it all, a big cozy rug, a nice spot for kids to just chill if they aren’t into toys.

Functional organizing is much better than aesthetic - don’t get me wrong, aesthetic is beautiful but it’s not realistic. I swear some of those organizational systems I see on Facebook shorts that are absolutely gorgeous are most likely just for filming purposes to be honest. Your home is gorgeous and has inspired me to do different projects around my mobile home. I only hope to have an actual house as beautiful as yours one day. I get side tracked all the time when I’m cleaning too - I call it cleaning ADHD! 😂 When things are organized, my mind is definitely clearer, so I can relate! Just brainstorming here - maybe you could make the junk drawer one of Carter’s weekly/monthly chores since you say how much he is like you and enjoys organizing. It would definitely help you out in staying on top of that area, and also take one thing off of your to-do list? Just thinking he might enjoy it! ♥️

I always look forward to your videos! I use to always plan my days around coffee too, but I’ve since quit for a year and it’s been a game changer for my anxiety and energy! I know you are health conscious, so just a suggestion maybe looking into the benefits of quitting caffeine, as it completely messes up your adenosine receptors, therefore causing you to make more receptors and the cycle repeats. Hardest thing I’ve ever done and it takes about a year for your body to completely go back to baseline and the withdrawals to completely subside. But I feel so much more calm (especially with kids) and motivated than I ever have! Just a thought that popped up when you mentioned how your day revolves around coffee because that was me for over 15 years! Love your channel and all the ideas I get from your projects!

I have cut out almost all caffeine including coffee. I have never had more energy! I do still enjoy a weekly cup of decaf coffee or tea while doing my weekly planning made at home so I can control the macros and ingredients of what goes into it.

I am def an obsessive cleaner ! My thing is nothing on my kitchen table bc it’s literally right next to our family room! I don’t like dishes drying so I try to wash and put away as soon as they’re done! Nothing on our floors before bed - huge fire hazard and that’s what I think about when we put our house to bed at night! We alwayssss straighten up before bed and when we leave for the day! That has def helped !!

The Minimal Mom recommends a time will tell bin or box. If you want to declutter toys, etc. you can temporarily put them out of sight. Let the kids know that if they want a specific item, you will take it out for them. Keep the stuff for maybe 6 months, then donate what doesn't get used.
