Eyeshadow bingo gave you a beautiful result. I think it was about time Nomad put out a more neutral palette. I love all my palettes but they tend to put out all colorful stories which isn’t everyone’s jam. I could wish there were some of those beautiful sparkly shades they’ve put in past palettes.
I have the Croc palette and just ordered the Yucca palette. Am I still getting this? Yes! Why? I love supporting this brand- travel themed. TX based, and philanthropic. And,yes! Packaging got me,too! Lol. Love the look you created!

I immediately thought, this looks like Gemini pallet and then a few mins later you did the comparison! I love the mattes in the Gemini but the shimmer fall out is absolutely awful. That would have me pick up this one. Beautiful eye look. Safe and fun travels ahead ❤
Super helpful video! I love everything about the colour story and all pan embossing. I was planning on getting the Odens Eye palette though and Gemini and Rust are staples for me, so you basically solidified my instinct that I don't need this one.
Yep- saved me money again. I just picked up Rust on a good sale and have Gemini so I’m inspired now to combine them. Also - magnetic pans so I can match the Nomad palette if I really want. For Nomad, I generally wait do their holiday/winter sale and get a bunch at a time to get a decent discount so good to know this isn’t limited edition and I can wait it out if I still want to.
I bought the Odens Eye palette which may be too neutral for me. These are not my colors-I am fair and need more colorful cool toned shadows. I love Nomad, but am passing on this and the new Natasha Denona palette.
Yes! It was available just after midnight on Tuesday so middle of the night last night on the East Coast ☺️ midnights and dates can be a bit of a mind trick sometimes 😂
I wonder if the makeup companies have spies that are selling plans, because yesterday I saw the ND Yucca release, which is similar color story of warm orangey tones and greens ... Just saying. Color trends are interesting.
I appreciate the review and the comparisons you did but it would have been nice to see comparisons from within the the line, like Americas Parks, or from a couple other brands because this is not a unique color story/theme by any means. Loved the random color choice!
Ooh, a MAGNETIC PALETTE?! Man I feel like that's a sleeper detail that's huge (at least for me). I thought they were discontinuing their singles but maybe they're just switching gears to a more modular system... 🤔🤔🤔
No sorry I see now that phrasing was confusing - magnetic closure! Meaning just not one you have to pry open. A lot of people are concerned about that for mobility issues so especially since this fuzzy cover is a big change I always make note of that when I can for my friends who struggle with certain closures ☺️
